The India International Centre is a little oasis in the midst of the rush of Delhi. It has a superb reading room and also a library. The rooms are basic but comfortable (free wifi available) and the surroundings are beautiful, with a pond, a garden and good, reasonably priced food. Many conferences and seminars are organised here around the year, so there is always lots of activity.

1. Convenient location - premium area - next to Lodhi Garden
2. Value for money - though the ground floor rooms are inferior to those on first and second floor
3. The best thing about IIC is its dining - spacious, simple, outstanding food, value for money
4. Nice service
5. Open surroundings

I thought I was going to stay at the main block but I was told I would be put up in the Annexe , just a couple of minutes away in an adjacent street .
The rooms are pleasant , inviting and well done . I was fortunate to have the room on the third floor as the view is overlooking plenty of trees . The restaurant is on the third floor for dinner and the snacks are on the second floor . Wifi is free . Well done , peaceful rooms .
The food is excellent ...
This was my first visit in the annexe but will certainly visit again as the location is wonderful ... Adjacent to Lodhi Gardens .

Stayed in IIC for 3 days. The two good things about is the location and food. It is very close to Khan Market and Lodhi Garden. The food is also very good. The staff are very nice & friendly and willing to help. Being a Guest House, the facilities are simple but more than enough for comfortable stay

While the rooms are plainly furnished, the location and quietness of the centre are excellent. The IIC is a major venue for cultural and academic events, and is within a few minutes walk to Lodi gardens. The staff are efficient and dining facilities very good and inexpensive for a hotel. There is free wifi, and an excellent library. It's not luxurious by any means, and not suited for those who desire a five star hotel.

Fantastic location! Great ambience! Caring staff ! As a "centre" and not a hotel , it has limited services and facilities but very adequate for my needs. Good compact rooms, very basic in many ways, but good functionality. the facilities of the lounge , bar, dining are exclusive and member focused. Beautiful gardens and outdoors, Lodhi gardens across the fence!

With modest space in rooms, reasonably well kept and with an excellent location in near central New Delhi. The vegetarian food in dining hall is marvellous. Particularly enjoyable are the regular series of cultural programmes and events - ranging from classical to quite upbeat with professional performers.

Room Tip: If you have to visit several places in Delhi/New Delhi - this is a central location of choice.

You can only book a room if you are a member or through one. Excellent location, moderate prices, and very good food. Rooms are cozy. Ask for garden facing rooms in the main block. First floor is good. Centrally air-conditioned - a good thing in Delhi in summer.

Try the ginger pudding with custard sauce...very exclusive...or the apple pie - amazing.

The staff are nice, though regimented. They have greater than 80% occupancy through out the year - why care to smile?

Although a bit old fashioned now, the rooms are soothingly done up in nice fabrics. The IIC staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, the tea fragrant.
A nice view of Lodhi gardens, complete with babblers, bulbuls, Kites, parrots...

Truly a respite, and very convenient too

Stayed here on a couple of occasions -- last been in October 2013. One needs to be booked in preferably through corporate / organisational membership.
The rooms are pleasant and cosy. The ambience is very nice. The restaurant serves good food -- but the same food taken as room service costs a bomb (it is 40% higher) and no logic is given why room service is so costly.
Taxis are available at beck and call if one needs it and even walking out one can easily find autos or buses. Easily identified by most people it is easy to reach also.
have seen many dignitaries, politicians during visits here as this is one of the favoured meeting places of Delhi gentry.
