Delicious food with authentic preparation. Our server, Mukul was hospitable. Would recommend this place for one of the best Italian joints in Delhi NCR. We tried the eggplant parmigiana, bruschetta, soups, chocolate salami, tutte verdi pizza
We stayed at the ITC Maurya for a few weeks and enjoyed amazing hospitality and service throughout. It was an unusual stay - since it was long, it was during the wedding and festival season and the hotels in India were just coming up to speed after a few lockdowns. We had a great stay at this hotel which was influenced by some of their exceptional employees. Rahul at the Golf Bar; Qasim, Sandeep, Shakti, Dharam Pal, Sharad and Chef Negi at the Pavilion; Priya, Anurag, Shailja in IRD; Mahendra and Urmil in Housekeeping; Yash, Archana and Aastha at the front desk; Sandeep and Mahinder at the Towers Lounge; Praveen, Anju, Vikas, Sanju, Chakravarti and Upendra at the Bell Desk. Special thanks to Nikita in Sales, Prerna at the Front Office and Deepanshu in F&B for influencing outcomes to make our stay perfect.…
Lived at this hotel for a week in december (2022) and loved many things about it but want to name 2 specifically: - On floor 15 Sanjeet was our housekeeper and his service, efficiency and ability to understand our family needs ahead of us asking for it was simply wonderful and worthy of note. - The breakfast at this hotel is legandary...any and every breakfast specialty from all parts of india are on offer. Amazing. ...still miss that pampering. Thanks Maurya. Keep it up
I stayed for several weeks. The spa is really lovely. I’ve had many massages in my life and this one may have been the best. The salon also did a fantastic job. My hairdresser’s name was Pawan and he expertly cut and styled my hair exactly how I had asked. The entire staff is very helpful and kind. I frequent the Pavilion restaurant and the staff there is very attentive. Aarushi is a waitress at Pavilion that I see every day, she is very bright and engaging, and is kind enough to help me with my Hindi. Room service is wonderful, and in addition to the daily housekeeping they will also stop by to do an “evening turn-down” to freshen up your room once more for the evening.
We did not stay at the hotel. We had booked this Hotel for celebrating New Years Eve . We booked in November.2022 via an online Hotel booking website with payment due date in the last week of December. But as soon as we made the booking in November, the hotel started emailing us to make the payment within a week's time. We informed them of the payment terms and they mentioned we could pay as per the terms of the booking. But soon after, we started receiving payment link emails again and when we checked, we were informed that there was a technical glitch and the email was meant for a different person. So in total we received more than a couple of emails in November asking for payment when the payment was not due until the last week of December. Ultimately cancelled the booking. If the hotel is not ok with a booking condition , it should ensure it is not mentioned on the online hotel booking websites when booking this hotel.…
I checked into the hotel as a last minute situation , my daughter had already been preallocated her room. As I approached my room, outside my door was littered with empty bottles, glasses etc right outside my door. I was wondering whether some guest had just left when they put me in that night- when I called them I was told that other guests litter the corridors !! During my stay I learnt why - if you order room service no one comes to clear the trays for 24 hours - so the guests have no options but to later corridors. There was no safe in my room - whatever the category of rooms, I haven't checked into a 5 star with no safe in a long time. My daughter got a room on the same floor, she was working all night on NY time - trying to rest during the day. The key word is "trying" as the construction noises were so loud she couldn't get to rest. No one told us there was construction going on - is it not normal to do so at a proper hotel - and give the guest an option of not checking in. So we changed her room to the premium towers category - she asked if she could sleep in a bit and check out a little late as it was a transfer within the same hotel as she had been disturbed all morning by the noise, But oh no! she needed to vacate by latest 2pm. Not slept, tired she packed to be ready for the move - she called and called and called but no one came up to help her with the move till almost 4pm. Having that been the case could they not have fixed a later check out for her move? When we checked in no wifi details given. Unusual for a 5 star right? However, when I called I was told a text is sent to the customer - I received no text so checked with my daughter - she hadn't received one either. Not only do they not do their job, but they cover up inefficiencies with lies. I upgraded my daughter's room but the phone didnt work, A technician was sent to rectify the same, but after an hour again it was found not working.. Breakfast etiquette does not exist at ITC. If you go down and its full you are made to keep circulating the buffet till you are actually seated. Every table was filthy and the woman at the entrance actually had to clear the table table. No one comes to your table to ask for your choice of beverage or anything - you have got to run around the restaurant to grab someone. They are least interested to serve. I asked for a simple thing like yogurt , "it is there" I was told, where there? I asked several staff, all said it was "there" but no one was willing to take a step forward to show. Finally I was directed to some iron casket behind a pillar and it was expected I would know what lay in that closed casket - no sign, nothing. I worked late both nights past 10.30 to come hime to in room dining - there is on direct button on the phone for inroom dining - you dial " 0" and they try to connect. You have to try many attempts and wait forever before some one answers. Neither the concierge nor the services believe in answering phones - least they be requested to do something. Our cards to the elevator didn't work after each day - so when you live there be prepared to come in weary to the lift and find you have no access, You need to gp back to the concierge each day to change your rom access key. When I complained to the north area manager Benita Sharma she just smirked. To make up for the poor service - they sent a butler to my daughters room - who was trying to extricate a 24 hour old inform dining tray - but was so clumsy she poured the oil from the dish on my daughter's suitcase! Lucky it was closed. The bell desk that transferred her luggage should have given a bag stand for the second suitcase. Either ITC is yet to discover such an item exists in other hotels or they are too lazy to supply one. May be had the suitcase not been on the floor the clumsy, untrained butler would have not spilled things. The worst is yet to come - for those who want tranquility or peace to sleep and work, ITC does not understand the same. My daughter had done a D&D but kept getting calls from reception and people pressing her bell. She complained to the front desk yet again and was told everybody had been informed so they didn't know why this was happening - so much for internal communication within the hotel. The noise continued from above her room - banging etc. No one could explain why, nor stop the same. DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU WANT PEACE & QUIET. There was no aspect of my stay that was comfortable or easy - even the staff that came to clean the room did a shoddy job. No deep cleaning gets done, in fact they don't even wipe the surfaces down. The day I was to check out I rung the reception in advance and asked them to keep the bill ready to save time. Seven people at the reception and it had not been done - there was no explanation why - the manager had to come out to do the same. Disguised unemployment. It was only then that they presented their guest relation manager - they wanted to "amend things" - where was she all this while? despite the fact I had made these complaints to the duty manager Mr. Kumar. She is just there to write you a polite mail on your departure to give them another chance. That is her sole job. Oh yes and to smirk at how many grievances you may have - because these are one to many. Almost like telling me my expectations were too high. Were they?…
We were provided excellent Hospitality service by Mr.Diyanshu FOM and Ms.Shailja.Ms.shailja was impressive and her hospitality skills are excellent. She is a fine ambassador for the Hotel. A special thanks to Mr.Pawan from the Housekeeping. ITC Maurya is our Second home in Delhi and highly recommended. Best Regards, Sree- Advocate Supreme Court of India
My stay at ITC Maurya was a major disappointment as the hotel was uncomfortably cold.. Upon my request they put a noisy space heater in the room which barely increased the temperature to 72 F (22 C). I am used to a room temperature of 75 F (24 C) year round. Hallways were fridgid. I expected a hotel of this class to be centrally heated, but it is not. This is quite surprising as at least two months a year New Delhi temperature drops to high 30- low 40F in winter. I expected the hotel to add a statement on the website about the lack of central heating so that the guests can make an informed decision of whether to stay there or not.
Trying to make Airport pick up, sent two emails and two calls no confirmation/no response. When asked to speak to manager, I was told they are not available!I don't want to be at airport without a ride at 2 am
Went to Dumpukht restaurant of ITC Maurya on 14th Jan’23 for lunch with family. Very good ambience, service and food quality. ChikoriKababs, Chicken Tikka , Mutton Biryani and Prawns were a delicacy. Service by Rahul and Jass Singh were very good and friendly to talk too.
