Just stayed at the City Star for three nights during an adventurous trip to Delhi. We walked from New Delhi metro to the hotel and had to say we're a little apprehensive before reaching the hotel as Paharganj district, while totally safe, is a bit of a shock to a westerner in terms of traffic, noise, activity and general craziness....

In our trip to India we stayed there three times, we took it as a base during our multiple returns to Delhi. Hotel is at a bit rough and busy street, but the hotel is really an oasis. Confort, big and modern rooms, rooftop restaurant with good breakfast, and very helpful reception team. Thank you, guys! We booked there also...

Nice, clean, safe, and helpful front reception. Would return for sure! My only complaint was about the bell boy. He brought my bag up and I tipped him. He left and came back two minutes later with a basket of snacks. I thanked him and he stood there waiting for another tip. He said "that's it?" Yeah, get the heck...

Good for a short stay. Rooftop restaurant had pretty good food. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Recommendation to hotel: improve room cleaning. The travel desk in the lobby that arranges tours, "guides" and transportation was expensive. "Guides" are just drivers that drop you off and leave you on your own. They didn't speak good English. We found Janu...

2 night stay here as our first stop in India. Comfortable room with plenty of space. The hotel is in an excellent location so you won't be far from the great sights of Delhi. Well worth the money for a quick stay when not spending much time in your room.

It's a very basic 3 star hotel. Ok for short stay. Laundry was cheap and fast, WiFi decent. Rooftop breakfast. The hotel staff was very nice to allow an unexpected guest staying with me for a reasonable fee. relatively close to new Delhi metro station where you can take the airport express for only 60 rupee to the airport. What...

This hotel was clean with great-sized rooms and an amazing staff. They went out of their way to help us and make sure we had what we need. Booked a tour of the Golden Triangle with the hotel and it was also great. Breakfast delicious—this place was a haven in crazy Delhi. Would book there again.

This was our first hotel in India; the welcome from the staff on reception was second to none. We had communicated by email prior to our arrival and the hotel had arranged transport from the airport, which was most welcome. The road is noisy and during our stay there was thick smog; from outside the hotel doesn't look that special...

Chose this hotel for location etc. at the start of our month long trip and stayed 3 nights. Busy road and noisy at night if your room is at the front. Room clean and comfy, modern with tea and coffee making facilities. Shower ok and nearly hot water! Breakfast was adequate served on rooftop and we also ate in on...

An average hotel with pleasant staff and good sized rooms (301, 302 ,401, 402 and all the 01s and 02s are smaller than the others) with kettle provided, air conditioning and fridge. Not very clean and not in a convenient area, in fact in a very scruffy area. The sheets and towels are very old and grey BUT the best...
