The hotel has an excellent service and ambience..All the staff is very co-operative. Best to visit at all times. The kitchen is open for 24*7 and each type of food is very awesome. Wifi speed is also best.

When you think of one of the main lifelines of Delhi - the metro rail and one of the main roads Mathura Road, one thinks of noise, pollution and disturbed existence. But Basil The Residency proves you wrong. This small, petite, boutique hotel is bang on the main road near a metro station and bus depot, but has managed to...

First the pros: Reasonably priced, very courteous & professional staff. Very good 24x7 room service, with all menu items available, and tasty food. Clean rooms. Has character (some may like it, some may not). Hassle free stay. Cons: Very smallish rooms (strictly for two persons), very average breakfast with limited items. One issue: Had booked through Makemytrip (paid upfront) but...

I have stayed at many places in this area and never had good experiences. This place was an exception. Highly courteous staff, Clean rooms, Silent area and very good food. I think the food here is their USP. Always freshly prepared and delicious. The breakfast has limited but good spread. They should maintain the good staff they have. Would be...

simply superb. This hotel is very well maintained, excellent staff, new rooms and decent food. It is located in Sukhdev Vihar. with all good things, there is only one compromise. It is not in the main road or on the business location. Taxi or Auto is required to access this hotel. One can have morning walk in the adjacent sukdev...

"BASIL The Residency" is a wonderful boutique hotel located in Sukhdev Vihar, on the main Mathura Road of South Delhi. A small establishment offering an array of facilities and "comforts" likely to make many larger establishments blush. For us , of course, the location of the place was a great PLUS. It is really close to "everything" in South (and...

I stayed at Basil the Residency the night before my international flight after being in Rishikesh to do yoga. I got lucky and saw the sign for the hotel from the highway, so it was easy to find in my case. The room felt very luxurious and I stayed in the whole day, relaxing and ordering room service, which was...

I stayed here to go around Delhi with my sister. We wanted a place away from central Delhi yet accessible to go around. Thanks to Metro which is 2-3 km I guess from this place which helps. First thing we experienced is Hospitality. Every staff member from the guy who picked our luggage at car to the reception folks and...

The Basil Hotel is probably one of the best hotel finds in Delhi: its very well priced, its small but cosy and well decorated, it has a very homey feel and the staff are beyond attentive with their guests. My only regret is not having stayed here longer. Since our arrival, the staff greeted us with a warm smile, cold...

Very friendly and helpful staff (all of them) and we appreciated their consideration after late minute changes to our plans involving some cancelled nights. The bed was the moist comfortable of all our India hotels. The food was good and the waiter provided very good service. (One of the breakfast waiters was not so organised, but overall it was fine.)...
