The hotel is great. It is located at Connaught place wich is a very clean and nice area. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and shops, you can meet many interesting people there. Everyone will find something they'll like at that place.
The metro station is nearby wich is very comfortable. Rooms are being cleaned everyday . The breakfast is good, because it includes a big selection of europeand and indian cuisines. The kitchen works at day time and you can order some food to your room.
The location of the hotel is very close to both Old and New Delhi, it's in a walking distance. The staff is very professional and friendly, especially Ranjan Singh, who was very helpful, caring and attentive during my stay. He helped me a lot with my travelling problems and answered to all of my questions.

Situated in Connaught Place, this hotel is reasonably comfortable for a brief stay. Breakfast is not available so the price I paid (£36/night) was rather expensive for what is on offer. Hotel staff very helpful & courteous. I was able to change money at a fair rate with the management. I stayed in 3 different rooms, the 3rd needed attention with a couple of small cockroaches running around.

If you are expecting a room with beautiful immaculate decor, I think this hotel will be a disappointment because the rooms are a little shabby and in need of some attention. HOwever they are clean. Delhi is noisy and sometimes you can hear live music from the bar downstairs but is finished by midnight.

Honestly after reading some nice reviews I expected a decent 4 star hotel. What I got it a filthy, rundown hotel, the room was dirty, someones socks on the chair, stained sheets, old smelly blackish towels, no amenities, etc. The wallpaper was ripped in many places, there were holes on the doors, etc. I went for a walk at 7.30am, outside door locked, staff sleeping on the floor, not happy when I wake him up. Breakfast not ready at 8.30am. needed to ask firmly, got it by 8.45am, a 1 egg omelette, 2 pieces of toast and a coffee. Couldn't believe it when I saw it. One more thing: till midnight loud music banging the building, so you will not sleep till 12am. I will never stay here for sure!

Pillows were dirty. Linens were not properly cleaned, we could see some stains. My stay was for one night and bit hectic. Couldn't take photos though.
Laminations on walls already came out making safe haven for cockroaches. My daughter had to be pacified and slept with a fear that the cockroaches might climb on to the bed. Glad that we stayed only for a night.
Bathroom was stinking with urine smell and we ourself had to do some basic cleaning before using.
The room doesn't have any window. Again one hotel with box type of room.
No lift, you have to use stairs upto 2nd level.
The way the hotel rooms are designed, I doubt if you can exit safely in case of emergency situation.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay.

My mistake at the time of booking: I gave weightage to good review comments from 2020 and ignored some not so good latest review comments of 2022.

So suggest people to have a look at latest reviews and take decision.

This is a very nice hotel. From outside it looks ordinary - inside is a transformation. But there are stairs to navigate. 24 hour concierge and very helpful The staff were very polite and efficient. The room was large, clean and quiet. The air conditioner was excellent. Breakfast is delivered to your room. This was a good choice. Beware of touts outside - they use very sneaky tactics and it won't end well for you.

Rooms are good but without any window.

It was a stop over for me but I would recommend for solo or business travellers.

No Amenities.

I stayed for a night and couldn’t try their breakfast some I had an early morning train to catch.

The hotel is on first floor with no lift, if you have a heavy luggage you will have to carry all the way to top as the stairs are narrow and steep.

• I requested the Hotel to help me with a taxi reservation prior my departure. The price I paid was 255% more than my return taxi which was reserved by a travel agency on the street. The car was much better as well
• The price of the room is outrageously expensive compare to the market. I reserved a Hotel in Jaipur with the street Travel Agency for two nights. Hotel Bright was 166% more expensive. The room size of the other Hotel was at least triple without mentioning the common public areas (Dining area, lounge, business center…) which are inexistent at Bright Hotel
• The room at Bright is called “Deluxe Double”. We thought it was a mistake the first night. There were no windows in our room. The space between the bed and the wall is less than 3 feet and maximum 5 feet in front of the bed. Actually you don’t have that space as there is a desk in that area.
• The breakfast is delivered to your room. Actually there isn’t any other choice as there is no lounge or any other common area for the customers. The space in the bedroom is so limited that you can’t eat with your spouse. One has to use the desk and the other a tiny coffee table beside the bed.
• The breakfast selection is very limited. My wife selected the “Fresh Fruit” option. While the fruit was fresh, she got a banana the first day and a papaya the second day. She hates both… The coffee comes like the tea. You got hot water and you bags of tea or instant coffee.
• Getting hot water for the shower is a long process. It is unfortunate to lose all that water in a country where water looks particularly precious.
• The cancellation policy doesn’t give any flexibility. Actually you lose 100% a way before you checked in. You can cancel a reservation within 24 hours in most hotels around the globe. Not at Hotel Bright
• The entry of Hotel Bright is a shame. See the pictures below or attached. It isn’t a joke. You across someone’s apartment (more homeless type of living). It is clearly written on the wall that this section belong to him. We left early one morning to Agra and Jaipur. The person was snoring like a bear. I couldn’t believe it.

We booked the Hotel Bright based on Tripadvisor reviews and, for the first time in a long time, were quite disappointed.

As you can see from the pictures, Hotel Bright is a nice, clean hotel once you are inside it. However, a closer look tells a different story..

First, the location appears central in Delhi, but Connaught Place is not a nice area. It's constantly under construction, and quite dirty. It is not a great neighborhood to be in at night. The hotel itself is hard to find, making a late-night arrival with a taxi who is unfamiliar with the hotel to be a tough experience. Once you arrive, you are taken through an unkempt building and hallway with graffitied walls until you finally reach the hotel.

Second, the front desk service is less-than-helpful. Whether it is asking about transportation or sites, the staff seemed very indifferent (with the exception of housekeeping / porter staff who were extremely friendly).

The rooms themselves, while clean, are quite noisy. Ours had no window (just a window that looked into another hallway) and light that came in at night. It's difficult to sleep past 7 am.

Overall, for the price paid (not super cheap once you account for taxes), I would look elsewhere for accommodation in Delhi.
