I liked the review entitled "worn and institutional but strangely endearing." For those traveling on a budget this is good low cost accomodation in a good part of Delhi, close to Connaught Place, to the state emporiums on Baba Karak Singh Marg and also not that far from the train and bus stations. It is a worn accommodation. We were...

THE LOCATION IS RIGHT IN THE HEART OF DELHI. That is the biggest catch. I had stayed there with my daughter, and the place is very safe. Though the building is old the rooms and toilets are very clean. I had booked a double room for the first day and a single room for the next day because my daughter...

This is a 100 year old hostel and it seemed that no one has done any work on it since it was first opened. I have two advices for anyone bold enough to stay there: 1. Take the most expensive rooms. They are best standard. 2. Look at the rooms before you choose one. Breakfast had a very poor choice....

My partner and I, and our two children, aged 2 and 9, stayed at the Blue Triangle Family Hostel in mid-December 2014 and again at the start of January 2015, on each occasion for three nights. Bouquets for location, value and - surprisingly - the restaurant. Brickbats for lack of maintenance, rock-hard beds and the booking process. First, the booking...

Stayed at the YWCA three separate times (beginning of May, end of May and middle of June) during a college trip through India. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Part of our group stayed in the dorm style room and said it was nice but you also could add a bed to a...

This is a really good option if you are looking for basic but clean accommodation in Delhi. The rooms are very spacious with bed(s), TV, proper desk, couch chairs, closet, AC and fan. The bathroom has hot water shower, toilet paper and nice towels. Everything worked and was clean. For a small fee there is also WiFi. There is a...

Planning a business trip to Delhi proved to be a monumental challenge, with my friends being out of town and the hotels prohibitively expensive. I wanted a place which was cheap, quiet, safe, comfortable and well connected, and this charming hostel more than met my requirements. I did look up the reviews of other travelers and agree with them that...

We stayed here for a few days at the beginning and end of our trip. It's a basic hotel, but clean. Though the beds are not very comfortable. It is very well located - we walked to Connaught place easily, as well as to markets close by. It's around 10 minutes from the train station. It's easy to arrange transportation...

I stayed for one night to attend a meeting. The place is neat and clean and well kept with strict rules about guests coming to meet you. The reception is nice and efficient. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms but the facilities are basic, but neat and clean. They provide room heaters in winters and A/Cs are...
