The location of the hotel is 500 metres from the Vidhan Bhavan and one has to go very steep downhill from there to reach the hotel. It is no doubt a heritage structure. Located in quite a remote area, although the mall road is around 1-2 kms away from the hotel. This is a very very quite and peaceful hotel....

The Shimla British Resort is a typical colonial style resort, with new furnishings the common areas had broken lamps and old furniture lying around. There is a need for maintenance. The rooms had stains on the walls. No activities for the kids they asked for carrom but we didn't get one. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Such...

Great Heritage resort. Nestled among the trees with quant, colonial style architecture and furniture. They have suites, regular rooms with an incredible view, Danish Cottages and Villas available as accommodation.

The hotel is quite isolated from the hustle and bustle of city, not recommended for location if you intend to move around and not just stay put. I had to leave hotel a day earlier than intended owing to lack of decent service- there was no buffet breakfast & not much of choice when it comes to ordering breakfast. I...

Clueless staff because of clueless management. Getting right to the point here, arrive in shimla after two 5 hour train rides in the pouring rain and was made to walk up a massive hill by the hotel driver yet the driver did not direct us to a car, he was on the phone and was not telling us what the...

But this property is away from mall road and pick and drop up facility is provided by the hotel. But without hotel conveyance you can't able to reach as the hotel is surrounded by Jungle and its not safe...

The pictures here are real and it looks exactly as seen (but of course no snow in summers). Pros: 1) Located at a serene location among chinar trees. Absolute peace (a little too much for some, maybe) 2) Close to mall road (USP of this hotel, it is so quite and isolated still so close to the Mall) 3) Free...
