Chitravana Resort on Mananthavadi road is worth the drive from city. A resort, the bamboo grove adds to the ambience. We had been there for dinner, good food & service. Certainly value for money. Corporate events, parties , functions are catered to. Lots of greenery adds to visual appeal. Soothing piped music/live performance is a bonus. They have a big... More

It was by accident we got to know about Chitravana Resorts, Mysore. During the long week end (Aug 13th-Aug 15th), we planned to visit Mysore city and were looking for a comfortable place to stay. Most of the resorts and hotels in and around the city seemed to have booked to their full capacity. And this resort came to our... More

We happened to stop for breakfast on our way to Wayanad. The ambience is good but not maintained well. We ordered dosa and puri baji and it took one hour to get our food😞 there were no other guests and we were there around 9:30am. We enquired few times and they said it will take another 5min. Food taste was... More

The Resort is huge but, full of greenery but lack of maintenance. Pool and cottages could have been better, staffs are friendly, food is average. We were here for New Year eve, the party was very bad.

I had a nice stay with my family in this hotel. It has clean and neat rooms. There was variety of items for breakfast. Staff was courteous. It is little away from main city. Wifi was free only for 12 hours. I will definitely come here again

We went there for a weekend. Cottage is pretty decent and ambience is also rustic though not well maintained. But the worst part is staff and food. All the staff members need basic etiquette and courtesy training. They have no clue what it means, especially the lady at the reception and Dharmaraj, the manager. Coming to food, for the price you pay... More

Chitravana actually means a forest of pictures. The owner (Who is also a painter) who took as around explained each corner with a lot of pride and joy.Cottages are simple and clean. Dont expect state of art facilities. Each cottage has its own backyard and privacy. The rooms are the simple variety if a little over priced. Maintenance is a question... More

We had been there for first time for a friends birthday treat. Its quite far from the Mysore city yet it was an excellent property. We had chosen a table amidst the plantation which was a hut kind. The food was excellent and with good taste. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The soups and tikkas were mouth watering. Overall... More

This is one of the worst places I have stayed in terms of food quality and its pricing, staff behaviour and response, room cleanliness. The place seems to have a good ambiance but the property is not at all well maintained. We were asked to pay the room ( we had booked the cottages) charges in full, the moment we... More
