We visited Mysore BnB to spend a weekend. Manjula, Stephen and Lucie were great hosts. From delicious scrumptious breakfast to wonderful company and some great conversations, we had a wonderful time. It felt like home and the house just had this relaxing atmosphere. Stephen took us on a cycle tour which really showed us the island from a completely different...

thanks for coming to see us and earning the esteemed status of 'lovely couple.' There aren't necessarily lots around, you know. Manjula was especially thankful as she'd had to put up with 'just me' for a whole week. You broke the atmosphere ;-) This being our very quiet time. Now she's just had another whole week with just me! really...

Originally met Steve and Manjula while my girlfriend and I were in Hampi, at the start of a 3 week circuit of SW India. Mysore was the last stop on our tour so of course we had to say there and we didn't regret it. Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet location, good food and a friendly host (although he...

Hey. So pleased we bumped into you and you then managed to visit us. Really enjoyed meeting you and then you becoming part of the Mysore Bed and Breakfast family. As you now know we really enjoy having guests here. It means we don't really need to travel ;) how's life now? I'm in fact just back from Canada and...

We had a great stay in February and wouldn't hesitate to say 'go there'. Manjoula and Steve arranged autos to visit the market, the palace, restaurants and general shopping. It was so easy and lots of fun. Th cycle trip was an absolute highlight and our minds are still full of the amazing images. Go for a beer and pakora...

My sister and I stayed with Manjula and Stephen for 5 days and loved every minute of it. They were such fantastic hosts, funny, helpful, a very good bike guide (Stephen) and an excellent cook (Manjula) and much more! We had a splendid time, enjoying the family feel of the house and the laid back atmosphere of town. We got...

Thanks for a great review. We loved getting to know you and spend time together. We consider ourselves very lucky that so many people choose to spend their holiday with us. It's great you've emphasised the atmosphere as well as the meals and mycycle tour (details also on trip Advisor) it was open to us to create an 'open house'...

We had a wonderful time staying three nights with Manjula and Stephen. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, room was very clean and the house itself is with all its details so cozy, just like home away from home. Manjula and Stephen had been perfect hosts and with Vasanth (our driver) we had great days in and around Mysore. Stephen's bycicle...

Thanks Eric. Lovely to meet you guys and spend time together. It's our very quiet season now so I'm visiting family first in London and now Vancouver to escape the heat :) manjula has just submitted her papers for another visa forbthe UK so that's her big reward of the year. My brother and I stayed at Mysore Bed & Breakfast for a couple of nights earlier this year and it was a real pleasure. We felt very welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived and it immediately became clear to us why this place has received so many good reviews. The house itself is in a nice quiet street...

Stephen and Manjula have created a welcoming and relaxing space. They are adept at being hosts. Stephen will entertain you with his stories, encouraging guests to have a chat and a laugh together; while Manjula will delight you with her yummy breakfasts and not to be missed evening meals. There is plenty of space - 2 lounges, the dining area,...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2017, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This is what I consider to be a true B&B, more about the hosts than the house. You are sharing their home, not living in a small hotel. If you enjoy getting to know your hosts and their other guests (as I...

Stephen and Manjula are the perfect hosts - Stephen is well informed, easy going and always ready to engage, Manjula is a wonderful cook providing great food and always served with a smile. Having seen the great reviews, we booked with Stephen and Majula as the first leg of our South India trip. I had been to India before in the early 80's but for Louise it was her first experience of India. We could not have picked better. Arriving jet-lagged and weary on an overnight flight to Bangalore, Stephen arranged a car...

Thank you Charles and Louise. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed ourselves with you. Available dates cannot be found here. Prices start at 1500 Rs We live in a quietish residential area, ten minutes in auto rickshaw, from the Palace at the centre of Mysore. We have a lounge, sun terrace, WiFi. There are three double bedrooms and lots of communal living space to meet our other guests. I'm Stephen, an English guy who's settled here seven years ago and set up the BnB five years back with Manjula, the one who holds it all together! We provide a good breakfast usually toast, scrambled egg, mushrooms, fruit, tea/coffee or Indian breakfast by arrangement and a big favourite is Manjula's home cooking and lessons. Mysore Bed and Breakfast also provides MyCycle guided bicycle tours (full details listed on Trip Advisor), have friendly trustworthy auto rickshaw drivers, publish postcards and create personal itineraries. We can advise on the best bits of wonderful Mysore and the surrounding area to suit your wishes and help with your continuing trip.
