I stayed at the hotel in Jan 2019 for 2 nights when arriving and leaving Mumbai. The budget rooms are very clean and good value for Mumbai. There is a common room on the 3rd floor which is good to chat to other travellers. A breakfast is included in the price. There are

1 700 roupies (20 dollars) the room for two, including breakfast, and free tea and coffee on the free access rooftop... Obviously, the rooms are not the best you've had in your whole life. But it's enough. We visited a lot of ho(s)tels in Mumbaï before stopping here. I can

Perhaps as an 'older' couple, as opposed to back packers, it is a bit too basic and tatty. Double bed with single quilt, miserable staff, not at all helpful - charged 1500 rupees for airport pick up - return to airport sourced ourselves 450 rupees. Free breakfast is curry - eggs

It is Couple Freindly ?
I'm not sure what you mean by 'couple friendly.' When I stayed there there were guests who were couples, and other couples who had children. I would phone the hotel and ask them if you are concerned about this issue.

As unmarried you may not need big leg space in a room. For that and mumbai (formerly Bombay) being what it is you wouldn't raise eyebrows on account of your partner if he be local. Enjoy your trip. Byapta

Hey I think it is a good location as you could do all the “touristic” sight seeing just walking distance from the main places to see. Even shopping, you could just walk up or even grab a taxi or rickshaw (always ask for meter to be on!!) and go to Chor Bazar or even a bit less further around the Nakhuda Market... or the other way on your way to Colaba area you just walk down to Flora Fountain and take that street down (Mahatma Gandhi road), plenty of street shopping... all depends om what you’re looking for Cheers
