If you are looking for the colonial magic of Colaba, an handy position on the seaside, a helpful, polite and friendly hotel staff so this is the guest house for you. Rooms are pretty small but the ratio price/quality in the area is almost unbeatable. In the hot days you can rely on AC. Amit is a great and pleasent...

The worst place we have stayed in India! The rooms are absolutely shocking with no ventilation. No hot water even though they say there is and no in room toilets. The beds were stained from when we got there and harder than a rock and the pillows were even worse. Ants and cockroaches covered the floor and the beds too....

When we reached Mumbai, we had no confirmed reservation at any hotel and a Mr Siddik arranged this place. We were told the room costs 6000 rupees per night to accommodate 5 people sharing. When we saw accommodation, we were terribly disappointed as the room was not worth the 6000 rupees per night. There was 2 double beds in a...

Everything in Mumbai is expensive and for 1500 rupees you expect a bit more. In saying that, the hotel was very clean. Probably the cleanest place we have stayed at in our month in India. The staff cleaned all day. Our room had a double bed, cold shower and a toilet. no sink though, which always seems odd. The air...

It's hard to find a room around Colaba for decent price, and they attract you with free wifi, however it is really noisy and staff behaviour is far below poor. AC doesn't work but you pay for it. They demand payment in advance right when you check in.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the location is good. The rest of our very short stay here was horrible. The rude manager told us the price of a room was 1200, then changed his mind to 1500, then again to 1700 before finally agreeing to 1400 (thanks to my driver's bad bargaining skills)....

I can only confirm the horribly sounding reviews of the other fellow-tripadvisors so far! Don´t ever choose this place as it will only end up in disappointment, cheating and hygienical problems. The price for the room was much too high, A/C didn´t work, the place was a paradise for cockroaches and all kinds of other insects which resulted in a...

We have seen our share of budget hostel accomodation in India, but this was one of the wordt hostels we've come accross. First because it was extremely dirty, and when coming back to our room in the evening the bed was covered in coackrouches. In addition the manager tried to ask for extra lugage-watching money while first we clearly agreed...

This horrible guesthouse is infested by cockroaches. The manager appeared friendly at first, but charges too much and even when we agreed on a price, he didn't tell his employees - so they demanded more money than we had agreed on. The manager was then conveniently absent and could not be contacted. Don't trust the people here and don't sleep...

HORRIBLE!! the taxi driver "dind´n know" where the hotel we told him was so he took us to this guesthouse (for sure the owner was from his family). We were new in India and we looked like it so, of course they charged us a lot for our room but, ok, that´s normal. But what is not normal is to...
