Used to be good especially customer service, now it has gone down. Check in, they didn’t have the rooms available, so it was fine for a change in room, I didn’t object. My colleagues came after me, same story, but they were offered a complimentary lunch. All my bills are paid for, and a complimentary lunch is not a big deal, but I didn’t like the different treatment. I won’t use the hotel for a personal trip. Dakshin restaurant, we had a dinner party. Took the South Indian thali (or something), starters were good. I asked an extra serving of prawns, the server actually told me he won’t as the dish would be less for the guy next to me. I was like “huh” are they refusing because of lack of prepared food. The bill was quite high with around 20 people, I don’t expect them to tell me food is less and they can’t serve me. I expect them to go and get more from the kitchen. same server was filling the plate of an expat lady right in front of me with prawns after 5 mins.. wth?? Overall the trip was not so good this time.…
Memorable stay at ITC Maratha We had booked a suite room and it was the first staycation we had done during the pandemic and after more than a year ( the previous one was Hilton Shillim Lonavala). I had used marriott bonvoy membership to book the suite room as they were offering butler service plus in room dinning at no additional cost. They further upgraded us to a bigger and higher category suite room. The check in was seamless and it wasnt a long wait especially when I had an infant with me. The room was ultra luxury with one living room with bathroom + one bedroom with bathroom, powder room and cloak room. There were all the luxury ammenities + in room snacks + expresso coffee machine + massage chair and all of which was complimentary. The food was very tasty and sumptous. The rooms were big.. but dont expect any view as its near the airport. The staff was very courteous and helped me with couple of print outs at the last moment. I stayed in this hotel twice back to back i.e August 2021 for 2 nights 3 days suite memories package and then for 1 night 2 days as we had to catch a flight from the airport. Its very close to the airport. All in all a memorable stay… its one of the best hotels in the town Will definetly come again…
ITC Marantha, We came and enjoyed this fabulous hotel. The restaurant is fantastic. A very big thanks to Derick who looked after us over 3 days, nothing was too much for him, Derick is the shining star in this hotel. Thank you from us both. Breakfast is also good
We booked this hotel on Jan 26 and got a package of all meals.we got an upgraded room .The room was very nice .We were four members and we stayed very comfortably there .There food quality is very good and also they keep on asking for kids anything special we need they provide it immediately so special mention to food area where buffet is there all the staff are very quick and did there job best. For my kid they also provide high chair.Only one thing need to mention that as your lobby area is very busy so increase the seating capacity.Overall nice stay and it's truly a five star property
Review of ITC Maratha, Mumbai Length of stay: January 2023, 1 night. Location: Property situated ~2mins drive from Mumbai International airport and within walking distance of Mumbai Metro. Check-in and check-out experience: Asked for an early check-in at 1 p.m. (vis a vis standard check-in of 3 p.m.) and a late check out of 3 p.m. (vis a vis 12 p.m.) a week in advance, which was considered. I arrived at 1.30 p.m. and the the room was kept ready on arrival and had to barely wait for 5 mins before getting the room key. Room: Had booked a Towers room, which was upgraded to ITC One room (1 fold upgrade). The interiors are made up in rich Maratha colors, which follows the theme of the hotel. Room was well maintained, spacious, and had all the amenities (bath tub, bath robes, etc) one could hope for. Plus points for in-room entertainment where the TV was equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Activities: The hotel has a functioning swimming pool (operational hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and a gym. Given the cold climate in Mumbai, it would've helped if the swimming pool was heated. Lounge access: This was the highlight of our trip. All rooms from Towers category and above are eligible for lounge access at the hotel's "Uppercrust lounge" which is operational from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The food spread given that it was a lounge was excellent with 4 starters (2 veg, 2 non-veg), 2 canapes, 2 salads, 2 dips, 2 desserts, and a cheese platter. Free flowing alcohol was served with at least 2 brands of liquors in each category, sadly no cocktails though. For teetotalers, fresh juices are also served. The wait staff was also eager to serve, which is definitely a plus. Food: Had breakfast at their all day dining restaurant, "The Coffee Shop". This was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The spread was decent with a bakery section (croissants, donuts, danishes, pancakes, waffles, etc), live section (eggs and dosa), fresh fruits & juices, Indian section (sabudana vada, pav bhaji, idli, etc), and continental dishes (sausages, baked beans, etc). The taste was sub-par, at best. All the dishes were underwhelming, almond croissant was soft, pav bhaji tasted like it was made at home, and the list goes on. Breakfast is served from 6.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Service: From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, everyone was eager to help, however, service was slow and had to give multiple reminders to get the work done. Overall experience: One of the most aesthetically pleasing properties of North Mumbai with beautifully designed interiors starting from the lobby till the rooms themselves. Given that ITC prides themselves on having some of India's best restaurants, food was one of the disappointing aspects of the stay. Booking source/revenue rate: 11,440 Green points + INR 2060 in taxes.…
Old-school glamour and luxury meet a modern take on hospitality! The hotel can get busy and a bit chaotic at times, especially when there are events, but the staff makes sure everyone is happy. They arranged a car service for us when we had difficulty finding taxis, and made sure our restaurant experiences were great. Breakfast can get crowded so it is better to visit during non-rush hours. Service at the Bombay High bar is on point, and the food at Dakshin is not to be missed! While there are other luxurious hotels in Mumbai, this is probably the best option close to the airport.
Its not the bricks and walls that make a hotel but its people and services. One enters the hotel and finds Adrien, a smile so warm that would bring you back to ITC again and again. Then there are Ketan and Prashant in his team who went out of their way and helped me. Tania and Amisha came across as most hospitable GRE team. Amisha has a lot of potential and long successful career ahead. Babar and Mahima helped me with keys (thrice) and rooming lists. But the smiles did not fade. Staff at poolside. Prashant, Pranit and Suraj, stole the show. Connected with them over my 3 day swimming sessions and I can say that yes the pool side will always receive positive feedback from guests. Rohit and Vaibhav, managers at breakfast made sure that service was prompt. Sharavani in HK did a fabulous job, I myself asked her not to work so much and relax a bit. 23 wedding rooms in a day to one Housekeeping attendant. They're humans too. Please treat them better A few areas to improve- 1. Packed breakfast was completely a mess. I asked for (banana breads, dry fruits, multi grain sandwich and a glass of orange juice) all of it is prepared at night in the bakery/CFP at night. Shouldn't have been an issue. Instead I received (Donuts, white bread sandwich and an apple) how can FnB and Kitchen mess up so bad. 2. Gave an order for an omelette. Chef went on a break and after 15 mins I checked the other chef, who had 0 clue about my order. 0 courtesy to apologize for what happened. 3. Pradyumn in restaurant is good with his work. Service is clean and prompt. But the uniform blazer looks shabby as it is half open and the mask is always below the nose/lips. I understand that hospitality personnel have to always wear masks and it gets really tough but then instead of wearing N95 just wear a surgical mask. 4. Concierge does not have anything. Its legit empty and that's not good. Everything I asked for, the answer was we'll have it procured from outside, give us sometime. Thats not how concierge functions. At least have se basic meds, fevi quick, etc etc stuff with you. 5. In the events there are no plates kept near the snacks counter and the chefs and the service personnel's don't he's I state a bit in asking the guests to pick up a plate from the other end of the ballroom. There were no tray jacks placed for the guests to keep their used plates and it got very difficult to get rid of a used plate as every service personnel was busy. 6. Please get the fancy haircuts restricted from the staff as it looks too unprofessional. Ex- A service person in banquet breakfast. Rest the trip was amazing and I'm definitely coming back to ITC. Beautifully celebrated Republic day at the hotel. I saw the flag hoisting and the melodies being played at the lobby.…
We visited for one night only before catching our daytime flight back to London; the hotel is ideally placed being less than five minutes drive from the International terminal (T2). We have stayed at ITC Maratha several times before and the hotel is definitely a step up from most airport hotels. Rooms are to a high standard and we found the atrium buffet dinner and breakfast offered a good choice of both veg and non veg dishes. For the evening of our stay, the hotel was hosting two separate wedding receptions which meant that the garden, outdoor seating and cafe were unavailable; a pity as we had to fall back on the rather sterile atmosphere of the bar. Would we stay again - yes, and we would probably make use of the pool and spa.
We were in Mumbai for work and stayed at ITC Maratha for 2 nights. The team under the leadership of Mr. Abhay Mathur and Mr. Upender Tomar, transcended all boundaries to ensure a comfortable and delightful stay for us. ITC Maratha has always been our home in Mumbai and right from the very warm welcome to the heartfelt send off we were totally at ease with exceptional care. We really want to appreciate the efforts of Hiten and Deepak for tending to all our needs. Also, a special thanks to Chef Nikhil Merchant for his prodigious hospitality. We’ll surely be back for more.
Had an amazing stay! The hotel was very well organised and the staff was very helpful. They made the stay worth it! Special thanks to Mr. Kshitij Sinha, the most helpful and polite person at the front desk!
