I stayed in Hotel Godwin for my last 2 nights in India, and I am delighted I did! It was by far the best hotel experience I had in my 2 month trip. The room was clean, as was the bathroom which was up to...More
After a two-week tour of Rajasthan and Aurangabad, we ended our trip with one night at Hotel Godwin. We had two rooms on the second floor. They were dirty with mold and cockroaches in the bathroom. The location and roof-top restaurant were great but don't...More
The location was excellent being right in the heart of the Colaba district. It is minutes from India Gate. The food and the atmosphere in the roof top restaurant was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Stayed here 2 nights at beginning of trip. Payed extra to get top floor because downstairs rooms looked even more grubby and depressing. Service was minimal and everyone was asking for tips (eg for pressing the elevator button).

Stayed at the hotel on my last leg of my India trip. Very dissapointed, considering the rates. Room was Ok, walls were dirty, both bedside lamps not working, toilet was leaking and bathroom light worked intermittently. The hotel seemed a bit run down and breakfast...More
It’s the tourist central of the city with a liberal dose of rich history, iconic eating and drinking joints and artistic connections that have found prominent mentions in Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram. Stroll down Colaba Causeway for kitschy street shopping bargains. Take a break at the many
laid-back legendary bars & restaurants like Cafe Mondegar or Leopold Café. The vibrant vibe of Colaba is incomplete without the buzz at Mumbai’s most iconic tourist hub, Gateway of India & The Taj Mahal Hotel on the parallel lane. Sprinkled with designer boutiques, quaint cafes with rooftop sea view, the promenade is a popular route to go to Elephanta Caves & Alibaug.
