I've stayed here 8 times in the last 1.5 yrs and I'm not even remotely tempted to look at any other hotel in Mumbai. In the same location, I doubt you would get anything under 5000 rupees a night, and the room size in other hotels nearby, for the same cost, is very small with barely enough room to walk...

I stayed here for the Mumbai test match so it was probably not typical to have so many English residents. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Rooftop was a good place for breakfast and to relax in the early evening but needs an injection of new furniture. Breakfast limited - if you don't like eggs the vegetable...

Had a fab stay in this hotel at the end of November. Lovely, clean rooms, great location and very friendly staff who took care of our bags and let us use shower and bathroom services after our check-out for no extra charge. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed to watch the cricket in November and were very well looked after. We had four in the room and this was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast on the roof each morning was great and nice to escape the Mumbai madness. As most people have said the staff look after you very well and if you need anything...

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days in November. It's centrally located and ideal if you want to explore the city by foot. It's a stones throw from ocean drive. The door staff were really friendly and had a great welcome each time we arrived back to the hotel. Management were a little more serious but nice! Rooms were...

Convenient location right on Marine Drive, rooms large, clean with plenty of hot water we stayed in the deluxe. Breakfast was nice on the rooftop but we were disappointed that only continental breakfasts were offered.

Considering that Mumbai is one of the most overpriced cities you can be, Chateau Windsor may be a good option if you want to be in a central location not expending a lot of money. But Chateau Windsor is only a good option if you're staying in a deluxe room. The other rooms (we've been there) are shabby. Deluxe rooms...
