It is one of the cheapest places for a double in Mumbai (Rs.1000) and is in a really awesome area- perfect for exploring the city. Room was pretty clean and beds were comfy however there was no power sockets in the room which is a bit of a pain... Bathrooms down the hall are a little shabby but fine. Staircase...

Actually I would rate it with: ok, how I did it in the title. But for Mumbai Accommodation it is in my opinion very good. The owners are VERY friendly and helped me out with everything!! The rooms are ok and clean. Unfortunately there was not a single plug in the room itself. But you can charge your stuff in...

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The owners are really kind and helpful. They explained a lot and I could ask them everytime. The rooms are big enough and clean. The things I didn't like are the shared bathrooms because they weren't really clean and in the room is no power station so you have to charge at the...

Liked: it was cheap (950inr/double) and the room itself was clean Disliked: the shared bathroom was horrendous. One time I went in there to discover a huge pile of short curly black hairs all over and in the toilet, as though someone had just, ahem, mowed the lawn and left the trimmings where they lay. I mentioned this to the...

We had a good look around and tried to find something at a reasonable cost, my wife had been in this place before and after researching the minefield of accommodation that is Mumbai figured you could either pay stupid amounts for a hotel that should be okay or go real basic here for a lot less. We paid 950 INR/night...

This place is OK. Needs a major refurb and a good clean. Sadly Mumbai costs a fortune for places that are pretty bad so for 950rps this is probably the best you'll get. Fan is inadequate for Mumbai heat. Reception guy has impeccable manners :)

We stayed there 2 nights. Its decent clean and the rooms are quite spacious. The separate bathroom is in decent condition and you can even find hot water here (of course not always). I raise the overall rating by one because of the excellent service. The host is very helpful and can show you good places to eat and visit.

This is an excellent budget option for Mumbai! Location is great, right between Colaba and Fort Mumbai. The rooms are spacious and have good views of the city, it has hot showers, is clean and the manager is so kind and very helpful. If you're on a shoestring I definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel manager was the most polite person in India! He was the nicest, quirkiest man. The price was more than quoted in the guide book for high season (and we were in low) and he wouldn't budge on price, and as we didn't get there until late we were at his mercy. For what you get the price is...

This was the second place we stayed in India after staying for 3 hours in the Salvation Army place. And boy was it a pleasent surprise. It was hard to find, literally just in a high rise building. The stairs look the a murder movie set - lots of pan spat up the walls. This just added to the intrigue...
