If I am a traveller what do I expect from a hotel : 1. Clean bed to sleep 2. Delicious food 3. Amiable host Mr. Sharma at reception told me that all he wanted to do after retirement to keep himself occupied and that's how he came up with the idea of a hotel where many stories are created. He...

Location: One side of the area is where the old Jaipur area with traffic starts and other side is where the quiter places exist. ~700m from Railway Station and ~1km from Sindhi camp and away from the main road by ~150m. Hotel: The ambience is good. Paintings and decorations all around. Mini lawns look good. Owner's hospitality, helper Ram are...

We stayed at Chitra Katha for 4 days at the end of a 6 weeks holiday in India. The hotel is quaint and beautifully decorated. The food was amazing. The best in India so far! The rooms are fairly large and have balconies. I would definitely recommend hiring a tuk tuk from the hotel. We had tried walking the first...

Loved everything about this hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Tried to help me in every way possible. The reception guys and the owner (I think) were very helpful. My room was the biggest surprise. I booked the cheapest fan room and it really exceeded my expectations. I was thinking I was gonna be given a ran down room...

Looking for a quiet place, this is one of the best in Jaipur, and for a very affordable place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location (20mn walk to the bazaar)... the only thing is the nest of tuk-tuk drivers right in front of the hotels: they'll jump on you as soon as they spot you. Apart from that, Chitrakatha is...

A tastefully decorated place at beyond reasonable prices. Sharma Jee, the owner himself was very courteous, helpful and so was his staff. The rooftop restaurant served some great chai and breakfast. One great thing is - you can view one of the Hathroi fort walls that's still standing right from any of the verandas. Within 100 feet! I think that...
