We stayed for one night, the garden and grounds are lovely, and it was lovely to sit out and enjoy a meal overlooking them. They have a dance, puppet show most evening s which my young daughter enjoyed. The food was very tasty particularly the paratha for breakfast! Service was good in all areas, there is also a cute little...

My second time, staying at this wonderful old hotel, which makes you feel like you really are in India, (as opposed to a hotel chain). Set in beautiful tranquil gardens, with peacocks, monkeys & squirrels. The staff are friendly & efficient, the rooms very comfortable, & the food is fantastic - would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful owners, the Diggi family who live on the property, with their commitment to the arts including a literary festival they organize each year with half a million attendees including global literary celebrities. Amazingly eclectic fellow guests: a renowned Tibetan musician, a Swiss member of parliament, a Spanish lawyer/Flamenco guitarist, a Cardiologist/classical Indian dancer... A world renowned Manganiar musical group...

Stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel Diggi Palace in mid-April. The hotel is gorgeous, set on expansive grounds with peacocks and monkeys roaming. It makes for a nice oasis in the city, and pleasant sundowners after a long day sightseeing and shopping. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was just what we needed. Loved the French pressed coffee!! The only...

Diggi Palace was the perfect climax and ending to our two week holiday in India. This palace is over 200 years old and lived in by the original family to own and manage it. The delightful painted courtyards, terraces, winding staircases and tree-lined gardens are utterly enchanting. The swimming pool is an experience of its own - a converted fountain...

Huge room - only defect was no apparent way of cooling the old marble floored bathroom but for the rest, it was really lovely: felt as if we were staying in a historic building. Quiet in the evening as it is not on a main road. We had to leave early the next morning, too early for breakfast, so can't...

Diggi Palace accommodated a big group of us travelling across India for a wedding. When you arrive, you come upon a luscious court yard, and the sounds of peacocks in the trees. The rooms are lined across the court yard, and within the palace walls. I was personally amazed by the set up. It is certainly NOT a hotel -...

Huge room, amazing Indian food and breakfast, efficient staff under Mr Wilson's supervision, park, lawns and pool under tropical trees. Peacocks, chipmunks, parrots, and sometimes monkeys for the children to play with. And most appreciated... a peaceful place for the Mumbaikar. Sure we were there on the occasion of Holi, and there was memorable fun going on, but on regular...
