The place is full of charme but part of the staff is not good enough, I mean most of it. Food is less than average. The SPA is nice, I had a nice and relaxing massage done by a girl and an Ayurvedic head massage done by a man, just terrible. Keep the guy away from the SPA. The room...

The hotel and it's gardens are stunning, with the a pool to cool off in the mid day heat. The rooms are huge, but the bed was a bit hard and the buffet breakfast was standard. Over all, definitely worth staying here!

We have been there for the swimming pool which was closed so we stopped to get a snack. 45min to get an a awful lemon juice. Served with not cold water and plenty of sugar to hide the taste. 15 min to tell us lassi is not available. A pineapple juice made of powder as substitute. The club sandwich was...

An unfriendly staff and sadly poor food. It appears to live on its proximity to Bar Palladio which was not what we expected....nor was the bar. We left very disappointed after 2 hours and were charged for the night we did not stay because we had booked with booking.com.

I know this hotel quite well to have gone there few times. The building is beautiful, it's an old typical rajasthani haveli, rooms are spacious, the decoration is fine, the garden is nice also, and there is a swimingpool which is nice to enjoy if you are on holidays; but it's not so comfortable, mattresses on bed are quite bad...

We went to Bar Palladio for dinner and the service was the worst ever experienced in India. The wait staff were arrogant and basically we felt like we were an inconvenience. The space and decor is divine and I'm sure attracts a lot of foreign visitors so it's a pity the experience is so unpleasant because of the people. Following...

As far as heritage properties in Jaipur go, this one is probably the worst value. It is much better to stay in places like Shahpura House, Alsisar Haveli, Diggi Palace or Samode Haveli than this places (even though, the 4th one is substantially higher priced). The only plus point of this hotel is its garden with peacocks. The restaurant is...

If you every wish to experience how the kings and the queens used to stay, this is your place. With least touch up of modern architecture this place still has its original heritage in place. Food is sumptuous and the ambience around is lush green and breath taking. You can spot some beautiful peacocks dancing just right at your hotel...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in this peaceful oasis. The hotel is absolutely stunning, surrounded by large, quiet (apart from the peacocks!) gardens. Our room was decorated in the same palace-style with high ceilings and all amenities. Everything was meticulously clean and well-maintained. The hotel restaurant has a large menu with something to everyone's taste, for very fair...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
he Narain Niwas Palace Hotel, a Heritage Hotel, provides a good example of history amalgamating with modern times. Centrally located in Jaipur, the Pink City of India, the palace was built in the 19th century by General Amar Singh Ji, the then Thakur of Kanota. Designed in a fanciful version of The Anglo-Indian style popular in the Victorian Era, the palace now serves as a hotel. The Palace has all the modern amenities and a place where one can enjoy traditional Rajput Hospitality. Decorated with Rajput Flourishing, Rajasthani Furnishing and Traditional Jaipur painted wall decor in a typically bold colour palette; Narain Niwas was built in the 1928 by General Amar Singh, Thakur of Kanota, and Commander of the Jaipur State Force. ... more   less
