Considering the price .the hotel is good enough . The hotel is really accessible being close to the city .The check in was smooth and the friend office staff is helpful. There are also lot of small street vendors near the hotel.

The Manager was very arrogant, we had a booking through Hotels.com, because they haven't paid his bill, he refused to check us in, his body language was I don't need your business, we had already paid for the room, so he reluctantly booked us in The breakfast had hair and not well cooked

The location of the hotel is just too good. Bang opposite the New Secretariat and just off Mount Road. But the place is poorly managed. The rooms are very ordinary and nothing much to write about. The buffet breakfast was very bad. The idli was cold and so was the dosa. They had not laid out the buffet and served...

What a find...we had been searching for a 'bar' bar in Chennai, when we came across the Hotel Priyadarshini Park and we could not really tell if it was open or not, but a security guard beckoned us towards a door, and, lo and behold, after going down many steps, we found ourselves in the hugely atmospheric hotel bar named...

Not worth money. To noisy and service quality is also average. If you are travelling alone you can manage but not with family. The staff does not speak hindi and could even communicate properly in english too

The room is clean and has the basic amenities. But it is very small and so is the bathroom. Food is good. I did not expect good north indian food but they surprised me. A lot of hindi and english channels are not subscribed to, for example SAB TV. That was surprising.

Stayed here for one night on 24th Jan....I liked the breakfast a lot....Overall food was good....Chettinaad special..... This was one of the very basic rooms I have ever stayed and it was termed "executive" and was overpriced for that....Small room, small bed was not convenient! They provided an extra bed on request however complimentary!

We moved to Priyadarshini Park Hotel in Chennai which is situated opposite the New Secretariat under emergency conditions. After a major debacle at a lousy hotel in Chennai (Hotel Orchid Inn) we were sceptical in choosing budget hotels in Chennai. However, our views were changed by the helpful and hospitable staff at this hotel. We were allowed to have 24...
