Went for a business purpose, the company booked the stay. No room cleaning service for three days, A/C just fell down in the first day, but they somehow made it work later, spacious rooms but not at all clean and neat. Staff seemed a bit confused about everything, but overall were helpful. Food is pricey given the quantity, but quality...

The rooms are very poorly maintained, had a damp smell. Linen was not appealing at all. Service was not upto the mark. It took about 1hr to send a extra bed after it was requested. The room phone did not work. Lift and the corridors were dirty and very poorly maintained.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. the rooms are dull and bathroom dirty. Thought this newly renovated property should be good but was a nightmare with extremely poor service. the rates are too high as compared to the rooms and the service what you actually get.

We stayed at the Peninsula Inn & Resort for a two-night stay during a wedding. There was supposed to be a block of rooms booked together for four far-flung family members to be near each other---16 members in total. Our first disappointment came when we realized you had in no way booked our rooms together. Our second disappointment--which was truly,...

The Peninsula is comparetively expensive, so I expected too much. The location is horrible, basicly nothing around the hotel other than big main roads. The next resturant is 500 meters away. The hotel advertises an own restuarnt but you have to eat either in your simple room or in the "bar" downstairs. Everything is really basic, and for the same...

I am not trying to compare these hotels to the 3 Star category and above. All my reviews are for the Tight-Budget Traveler and I try to find hotels that offer Comfortable Stay and those that take...

“Take a look at a few rooms before you decide. And when in Chennai, Always Check if the A/C Works. Leave it on for a few minutes, check if it cools. The Bellhop will give you all kinds of excuses like it will cool in some time. Low Voltage...Blah Blah Blah. Do not listen to him.”
