We arrived late in the evening but that was no problem for the owner, they were everytime very friendly and had for every question a good and realism answer. This Point was for us the reason to call it excellent. The room ist quiet, big and bookable with hot shower or hot water bucket (30rs). Also is free wifi avivabel.

I honestly felt like I was staying my funny Gorkhan uncle that I was meeting for the first time. My friend and I were welcomed like family and even looked after when I was sick. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It made our week in Darjeeling fee like home - safe and comfortable.

A group of 8 of us stayed here for 4 weeks and we really enjoyed our time here, the guesthouse is fairly close to the centre of Chowrasta and has a really nice view from the balcony and rooftop which you can see amazing sunrises and moonrises. The owner Lalit was very friendly and would help us out in anyway...

Friendly family, clean and big rooms with good beds, great view. Very cosy and calm! The location is on top of darjeling, which means a lot less traffic etc. Hot water shower, good WiFi, laundry. Nothing to put my complaints on really, just a great place to stay in.

- Basic but OK room with thick blankets (no heating though but you get used to it: it's like that in Darjeeling, restaurants and shops don't have heating either) - Bathroom with hot water if requested - Warm tea every morning - Friendly advice from the owner - A short walk from the city center - A lovely view over...

Two rarities on the Indian backpacking circuit. Run by a pleasant old man this is a basic guesthouse with good beds and clean sheets and very clean rooms with stunning views straight down the valley. I paid 400 rupees in March 2014 and I think it's a fair price. The hotel isn't on the Dr ZH Road, you have to...

After weeks of hard beds it was a relief to find a nice clean guesthouse with a fairly soft bed. Teh owners are friendly and helpful. As the guesthouse is a bit further up the hill and out of town it is quiet in the mornings and on a clear day the view from the balcony is stunning. Only downside...

A little further out of town but walkable. Beautiful views and price was negociated down as was a bit much to start. We shared a bathroom with the family which was a little strange. Running hot water only between certain hours and the gate gets locked very early evening. Wifi was very tempramental. Get what you pay for.
