A great place to stay at moderate tariff. The Deluxe Rooms on the road side are great from where one can see Kanchenjunga. Of course in the winter season, when the sky remains clear and without fog. Foods are awesome.

I hesitate to tell the entire truth about this place, because I intend to go back there someday soon and don't want to find it booked out! The hotel is clean and lovely, with amazing Himalayan views, wonderful cozy rooms, bargain rates, an excellent little restaurant, superb breakfasts, and above all, a warm, friendly welcome from the owner/operators.

I stayed at the Dekeling with a best friend, we thought the hotel was very good and we loved our stay there. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Darjeeling. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The highlight for us was the lounge area with relaxing seating a fantastic...

The hotel is lovely, with stunning views and a very helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean. However, in February, when it is very cold outside, we found the hotel and our room to be too cold. This wasn't a problem for sleeping, since the bed was so cozy and the hot water bottles they...

Three of us stayed for two nights at the Dekeling. The staff are wonderful and warm and the service was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfy. There are a lot of stairs so people with mobility issues need to be aware, but then Darjeeling is pretty much all up and down too. The common room offered a lovely early...

As a solo traveller I really felt that this hotel gave excellent customer service. Having the pot belly stove going in the evening in the lounge gave fellow travellers a place to gather and meet others, swap travelling stories or read. Great location to restaurants, the main square and awesome views out my window and lounge widows of the Khangchendzonga...

The location is bang on Mall Road with most shops, restaurants and services around. The hotel is a heritage property and decently maintained. Quite clean and must commend the way they maintain spotlessly clean linen and towels. Value for money. The front facing rooms have excellent view of the Kanchenjunga. No room service or food arrangement but there is a...

Good hotel in central Darjeeling, all sights at walking range. No lift - you may have to carry luggage quite some stairs up. Restaurant was closed at time of stay, construction work ongoing. Rooms clean with heating and warm water. Friendly personnel. Not luxury.
