Old hotel, no maintenance, paint on the walls are chipping. Bathroom has hot water but dirty. Bed sheets are not replaced. Everything looks old and front desk staff are not welcoming. Needs improvement. A lot of improvements.

Aside from the look of the hotel from outside and maybe the reception desk, it was not a good experience in the "Presidency Inn" Well even the name sounds so good but in fact is not... Rooms are very basic and everything needs maintenance..

Charged way over the top for an inadequate room which for Calcutta is not unusual, but what was unwelcome was being told i had to not only change my room at 10.30pm but also while a friend was visiting. Repeated visits by hotel security and general harrasment ensured we left as soon as possible. It is difficult to imagine i...

We were drooped off there because of a Taxi Driver recommendation. We were tired and The Shiny Glass Tower looks Attractive from outside but Inside Story was Terrible I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because of so many reasons. The only best part is Locality of this hotel, very closed to main tourist area.

This hotel just about gets the record for my shortest stay ever - about 10 minutes. The rooms stank; the bathroom had a hole in it ( not the toilet) up which some creature appeared to welcome me ( which come to think of it, was rather more than the manager did). The floor was sticky ( even with shoes...

The shiny glass tower makes you think that this might be a fresh, clean new hotel like the genuinely excellent Kempton in the same street. It isn't. OK the reception area has a deal of style with its sunset poster and marble walls. But as soon as you get past that facade the reality hits - rooms are every bit...

The basic rooms are very basic but are what one would expect for the price . The suites are awful , especially the ones with carpets. The carpets have never been properly cleaned and one can smell the dampness immediately. The towels are often "off white" and torn or worn out, added to the insects in the bathroom and the...
