Hotel room number 8 - outdated - not fit for a so called 5 star hotel. Outworn furniture, no WIFI in the room. Waiters helpful but no knowledge of Englis or Spanish. The high price for the room is not justified. The gardens are beautiful and well kept.

if you want to sleep at night on week end before dawn that's the right place. it's not cheap but you get what you pay for : large and comfortable room, with fan and ac, fridge, tv, balcony, beautiful garden view, large swimming pool and great breakfast. good value for high mid-range hotel but one of the best in Olinda...

Located in the middle of old Olinda 7Colinas is a great place to stay. Breakfast is good with plenty of fresh fruit. We also ate lunch and an evening meal here during our stay, the steak sandwich is a treat for lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful, speaking enough English to ensure everything worked out well. There is a...

Having stayed here on previous occasions it is always a pleasure to return. The gardens are beautifully maintained, the seclusion takes one away from the gritty streets of Recife, the breakfast is still great with frequent visits from birds and capuchin monkeys, the rooms are comfortable though access remains somewhat labyrinthine, the staff are helpful, the swimming pools are a...

A beautiful hotel in the middle of a tropical forest. We stayed there for 4 nights and everything was perfect - a large (though rustic) clean room, free good WiFi connection, free very good breakfast served outdoors, very friendly staff, good swimming pool, immaculate grounds. The location is good - in the old town of Olinda, and a short taxi...

The Colinas is a rustic hotel set in the historical quarter of Olinda and also not far from the beach front. It certainly offers more character than any of the high-rise hotels set in Recife (along Boa Viagem). The rooms are simple, the breakfast outdoors on the veranda is good and I had a good steak in the evening. The...

The hotel is away from the airport and in located in Olinda, a few kms from Recife. A trek up stoned roads leads you to a hotel in a tropical forest. There were many mosquitoes which was scary and the hotel staff had limited facilities to combat them - in fact when I entered the room, the door without a...

This is a picturesque hotel with beautiful gardens surrounding an old house. Rooms are simple but functional. Bathrooms basic. Pool and gardens are very nice, the staff are very helpful. Very well located to visit Olinda on foot, right in the old center.

Very good location and excellent service. The rooms are relatively large, many have balconies and some have a hamac on the balconies for those that want to get some coolness but can't stand the airconditioning. The hotel is located in the middle of its own tropical garden ( a well maintained one) and has a nice swimming pool in the...

Overall the hotel is a very good place to stay to discover Olinda and nearby Recife. It's located near the historical center of Olinda and from there you can easily walk around and discover the nice historical streets, churches and buildings. The rooms are simple but clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool for both adults...
