This hotel was very nice, the only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it's advertised on Trip Advisor as having a breakfast included. It's part of why I booked this place. But then I showed up and the guy at the front desk says they've never had breakfast in four years. I showed him the trip advisor page where it shows that I've paid for breakfast, he said he didn't know anything about it. Slightly frustrating. Other than that the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was clean and aside from the train passing it was extremely quiet!

This place was recently renovated and it looks good. Fluffy pillows and comfy beds. Rooms are small but in my opinion that's good because it takes less time for the room to cool off\warm up. This place used to be a Thunderbird motel back in the day!No bedbugs and the room was very clean. A great place to flop when passing through. Plumbing is older so the drains are a little slow, but they have always been slow. (I'll add I cleaned rooms here with my mother when I was 17.) If you are in for a low maintenance stay, its worth the cash.

If ALL you need is a cheap, relatively clean bed and shower, then this place might do in a pinch. If you also need: courteous service, a peep hole to see who is at the door, internet access, an ice machine, a soda machine, breakfast, a clock, a television from this century, and stain-free comforters, sheets, and towels, then you might want to pay more elsewhere. The room was much nicer than the check-in lobby, and smelled much better, too, until I made the mistake of turning on the heater. Parking was easy, but only because there were so few cars. Parallel parking? Really?

The room was better than expected. It was obvious the rooms have been remodeled. The room was clean and comfortable along with free Wi-Fi in the room. No breakfast, but for the price of the room you can just go out.

I wasn't expecting much with a motel run by members of the AAHA. There was a glass wall in the lobby looking into a closed restaurant filled with furniture and other stuff. When I opened the door to my room, I was quite surprised at how good the room was. It looked like it had been repainted and refurbished. The only minor problem was a remote not working really well for an older style television.

We were in Guin for a family visit. Just needed a clean place to sleep. We had a king room with frig and microwave for $55! Recently totally remodeled. Very clean and WiFi worked great. Bed was very comfortable. Only downside was no coffee pot in room. No breakfast but great cafe, Jimbo's, served some great food. Would definitely stay here again.

Me and my husband stayed here for the weekend and we couldn't have had a more pleasant experience! The service was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in, or near, Guin! The town is super small, but the people were so nice and we found everything we needed. Close to Walmart and a great steakhouse! We will definitely return next time were in the area! :)

I don't understand the previous review. This motel was remodeled last year. My husband and I just spent the last week here. Our room was very nice. Spotlessly clean. The beds had new linens and were very comfortable. No bugs!! The bathroom was very clean. The electrical outlets were adequate. The microwave and refrigerator worked perfectly. The air conditioner kept the room cold. The proprietors were very nice and accommodating. Great coffee every morning. We will stay there again on our next visit to Guinea. Thanks

Where do I begin?! BEDBUGS. Absolutely no outlets. Dirt and mud in shower. HAIR in shower and microwave. NO A/C. Stinky stinge. All your neighbors are prostitutes and druggies. Microwave and fridge dont work. Hateful, unhelpful staff. NO military discount...on Memorial day weekend! They added extra to the pet fee I called both owners and 1 gave me a full refund, while the other called me a liar because his co owner had told him that he only agreed to give me $20 back, not the full SEVENTY DOLLARS (this place isn't even worth 70 cents!!!) Go anywhere but here. I went out to our rental car (with no AC in 100 degree weather) because I would rather be there than in these horrible excuses of a room!

I stayed for several weeks while working in the area. I found my room was clean and bright. Maid service was completed daily. I was a great deal for my length of stay and the owners were great people. I would stay again and would recommend to others.
