I'm not rating the campground; it's huge and facilities are nice enough. I'm questioning the truthfulness of their check-in staff. We've been here 4 nights and are scheduled to leave tomorrow. I've had the flu since right after we arrived. As many campsites as this...More

I'm very sorry, we fill up quick this time of year with winter guests, we are booked solid all winter. I hope you are all recovered and feeling great! Please come back and see us!

Especially winter snowbirds- our 4th year here - so spoiled to the large campsites, the friendly staff, the gated security, the fun and activities. Gulf Shores itself is a wonderful, uncrowded, place to spend time. The only complaint is there doesn’t seem to be much...More

Thank you for the great review and welcome back! The pot holes in a low lying town are always an ongoing process, they are all filled now in the park.

Clean, friendly and very well organized campground. Big spaces and many pull-thrus. Paved walking trails and several bike paths. Very, very clean and well lit bath houses. Cute camp store. Lots of sites around the lake and all of it is right across the street...More

The campground is across the street from the pier/beach etc. It's all part of the park, but beach access is a couple miles.

I do not remember seeing anyone on golf carts. A lot of people on bicycles and walking. We had several questions before we left and called them. They were very friendly when we talked to them.
