We stayed in Serenity and the place is great. We wanted some place to get away for our 25th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect place. Kris and Charlie, the innkeepers, are so warm and welcome. You cannot even describe their hospitality. It is almost you like you are guests in their home not staying at their inn. And...

The Secret B&B is one of the best we have stayed at. We stayed on a clear/full moon night, and ended up sitting on a bench until 11pm just looking at the moon and how it reflected on the water. Their attention to detail can be seen all over the B&B, inside the rooms/cabins and all over the outside. We...

We live in Atlanta and like to get away on the weekends. My girlfriend mentioned that she had never stayed at a bed and breakfast, so I decided to surprise her. I went online and saw The Secrets, and I thought that this would be a great little adventure. From the initial conversation over the phone with the owner, I...

My husband and I have stayed in Bed and Breakfast inns all over this country. This one was unique. Although we have enjoyed most of our experiences with B & B, this was the first place where the owners made us feel at home. The night we arrived (Saturday), Kris and Charlie welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed sitting around...

We recently found The Secret and loved it! The views are amazing, the food was delicious, the hosts were very accommodating, and the decor was fun and quirky -- an over-sized "Lilly Tomlin" chair, a Superman outfit inside a phone booth, a life-size stuffed lady on a bench -- an interesting surprise in every corner. Although the inn is not...

Friends introduced this wonderful B & B to us. We planned a golfing get-away with three couples and found this an incredibly scenic property matched by an incredibly warm and accommodating host and hostess, Chris & Charley. We were especially happy that Charley, a pro golfer, took a day to play a nearby golf course with us. Back at the...

After being in NOLA for 5 days The Secret was a peaceful change. We were able to relax & enjoy a beautiful setting. We enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the sunset & saw the most beautiful sunrise. We also had fun w/ Jose the donkey. We would stay again, warning, relaxation only. There's not much to do but...

Lovely couple and a beautiful location. This is well on its way to be a fabulous B&B. The breakfast was exceptional and the view incredible. As they continue to upgrade and expand our only thoughts would be a little more comfortable mattress - ours was hard. WIFI in the cabins, a shower not just a bath in our cabin... Lovely...

My adult daughter and I had an awesome few days at this beautiful place, enjoying the views from the second floor pool, the delicious breakfast each morning and the wonderful views. The rooms in the main house have 2 queen beds, balconies and private baths, but the location also includes 3 cottages which can be reserved for more privacy. The...

My husband & I shared the "Tree House" which is literally a one room house on stilts. We used to go camping, and since he lost interest in that... I thought this would be PERFECT and it was absolutely amazing! We were right over nature in a tall house and had a hot tub too! We spent the day at...
