We stayed here at Vanilla guesthouse for a week. They helped us organise a taxi to and from the airport which was very much appreciated. The owners are very lovely and offer a cheap and fast laundry service. The room was clean and there is a big hammock to lounge in if you get sick of the beach. The only...

The rooms are secure, relatively basic and clean so very worthwhile monetary wise. The location is great if you don't want to be partying every night, far enough away from the...

What a little gem. Vanilla guest house was the cleanest guest house I have stayed in in Goa. The rooms were well equipped. .. even hangers and towels were provided... a first for me from a low budget guest house. Each room has an outside seating area and the upstairs veranda furnished with sun loungers hammock and a swinging love...

Stayed here as a couple on our first two nights in Goa. Paulina and Edwin could not have been more welcoming. They arranged taxi from the airport and also mopeds for us to hire (at extra cost). Great location by the sea and easy walk along the beach to the famous market. Would definitely stay again.

“all rooms are equally good. There is one room at the ground floor and i believe this is the only room located at the ground floor. so best for couples. if you want to enjoy the evening sea breeze and have a casual chit/chat with the other guests then take the rooms in the first floor. this place is usually filled with long-term tenants(6-7 months) so book early.”

“We had the room upstairs facing away from the direction of the beach - which apparently used to be her sons room. It was large, airy and had 2 separate locking doors, so very secure! Not to mention one of the best bathrooms and beds (an actual double bed, not two singles pushed together!) we found in all of india!”
