We loved our stay here as the owners are so friendly and kind! Their place is spotless with everything a traveller would need. We are older travellers who found this place to be quiet and met all our needs. Great neighbourhood. Easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

Everything about my stay at the Old Town Guesthouse was great. They are probably the friendliest people I've encountered during my 6 weeks of travel. Breakfast, coffee, tea, water is all provided and also a lot of advice about where to go in Melaka. Not right in the old city, about a 5 minute walk, which is nice to be...

I had such a great stay at Old Town Guesthouse. The entire place is beautifully painted, comfortable, well maintained, and clean. The host was very friendly, giving me a tour and explanation of the city when I first arrived. I even got to do some laundry for free. I truly felt like I was home, they took such good care...

We stayed here 5 nights and would definitely recommend it to other travellers on a budget. The best part was our fantastic host, Choa. He showed us around the guesthouse as soon as we arrived and gave us tips on what to see and where to eat (although he's always around somewhere if you have a question, he is quiet...

Love the place, felf like home and safe. It was walking distance to jonker street . We were able to explore melacca by just walking. Chua was easily contactable by email and he made our stay a memorable one.

The stay at Chua's Guesthouse was absolutely satisfying ! The rooms are very neat and with a fan plus air-con ! He provides free laundry and some toast with jam and coffe/tea for brakefast ! In the whole house you can walk barefoot as the floor is clean like your own home !

Perfect location: This guesthouse is located few minutes away from Little India or Chinatown and at the foot of Saint Paul hill. There are plenty of small chinese food stall next door, for cheap prices and busy with local atmosphere and for any tastes. A bit further (50m away), Indian cheap buffet, and further a market. Away from the touristic...

It all started so well. I booked our stay at this guesthouse by email and the owner, Chua, seemed so friendly and welcoming. We were really looking forward to arriving. However things started to go downhill from the moment we arrived. We arrived early in the morning after a night bus. We were tired but were prepared to wait for...

You amended arrival date few times but I still allowed it. You arrived early morning and I told you, the room will be ready around 3pm. I even told you in email about the early arrival will depend on room availability and you understood about it. I offered you other available rooms as a option if you can't wait for...

The owner is a very lovely man! He has a great knowledge of Melaka and is approachable at anytime to answer any questions and provide advice on things to see or places to eat. The guesthouse is very inviting with it's colourful decor throughout. In a great location, especially for cheap food (as the main centre of Melaka can be...
