Hotel Puri is located central in Malacca, near the night market and near Jonkers street. The staff is friendly and helpfull and gives you a warm welcome at the hotel. The rooms are simple and small. However they are clean and have airconditioning and television. The breakfast isn't comprehensive but it tastes good and there is some local fruit you...

Very characteristic, nicely restored "Melaka house". Great location near the old centre of Melaka. Private parking facilities for free in guarded area. Very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, stylish with old furniture, but with modern bathroom-facilities. OK breakfast. Very modestly priced, so great value for money.

The receptionist was not friendly , the service was poor cuz they didn't bother to show us the room , as we got to figure out ourselves and ask for direction , we stay at the 2 nd floor , there's no lif but there will be a bellboy to carry your luggage up , the room was very small...

Checkin process was smooth and reasonably ok. My only reservation is that reception staff could be friendlier. The Hotel itself has been tastefully restored to its original beauty. Many features such as banisters, ornate flooring and many of its antiques add to the old world feel. The rooms are small but clean. Only complaint was no fridge! In a climate...

A lovely old Chinese mansion converted into a very affordable and unique hotel. Good rooms and facilities, and the Chinese Peranakan furniture a lovely touch. Breakfast is adequate and plentiful and the hotel service very good. We had a bag handle fixed expertly by the maintenance man for no charge!-but we did thank him appropriately. Puri is in a good...

We chose the Puri as we wanted to stay in a heritage hotel in a central location - and we were not disappointed. It is a very attractive building, inside and out, and full of interesting Peranakan furniture. Since the extension, it has even more gardens and courtyards to enjoy. Our Deluxe Room, on the top floor, was very quiet...

It is in a restored 1822 home of rich Chinese businessman and philanthropist and is chock a block full of antiques and paintings and gardens and fountains and courtyards and marble and tiled reception and public areas. We are on the third floor in the more...

The hotel is charming, although the front looks small, it goes back quite a way, with serveral garden courtyard areas. The ground floor has charm. The rooms are simple and plain and not decorated in the peranakan style. There was an empty fridge (a couple of bottles of water only) that we could put our fruit and own drinks into....
