This beautifully restored colonial building is THE place to stay in Melaka. The spa village is one of the best in Malaysia, and I highly recommend reserving a treatment. Kristang cuisine is served in the restaurant upstairs by a celebrity chef. Most places in Malacca serve Nonya cuisine, so this is a great chance to sample something a little different....

The hotel is just gorgeous. Clean, classy and picture perfect. 1 of the characters of the hotel was Bob the Barman. He was just so good. Nothing to much bother. Great sense of humour. Little snacks down stairs just because. Always someone opening the door for you.

I would like to congratulate Majestic Hotel's Staff - Mr Maarof, Mr Hadi, Mr Syahrir and Mr Edmund for the wonderful experienced we had during our breakfast last week. If you like to a place that brings you back in time , experiencing an Elegant but charming hotel ,this is it. Like living in an old but updated colonial house. Lovely the wood floors and bath tub . Not very near to the main shopping areas but Malacca is so nice to explore on foot. A nice place to...

Enjoyed my stay here. From parking ( help with luggage ) to checkout, the service was good. There were some snacks around the reception area and my grandchildren helped themselves each time even though they had just gorged themselves on Melaka food, Surprisingly, there were no sour looks or black faces when they did this. My room was clean and...

Great hotel. Real classic building and exceptional old school hotel service - and definitely a breath of fresh air stepping back into the hotel. All staff very friendly. Special thanks to BOB! Kept my glass topped up at the bar and went to the trouble of packing us a lunch for our Coach ride to Kuala Lumpur (even on his...

This review is for the high tea at the Majestic Hotel. Loved out hour there with delicious food accompanied with lovely piano tunes. Staff were friendly and attentive. The lounge was clean and well maintained and the cutlery and crockery beautiful. If I had to find a constructive comment it would be that paying for high tea for two, should...

Absolutely magical. A real old traditional Chinese merchants mansion which has very tastefully been transformed into a hotel with out loosing the authentic feel and origin of this lovely building. Ok there is a ten storey extension at the back but ask to stay in the original building where you will be swept away by the very large airy rooms...

Stayed here for three nights and the hotel is charming, like a mini 'Raffles'. Good history to the hotel. We had a very comfortable room, bed was just lovely. Staff were mostly nice, I did have an argument, (yes, an argument..!) about a breakfast dish. On the subject of breakfast, the selection is very poor for a hotel of this...

When you step into the entrance reception with it's high ceilings and tiled floors you know you are in for a great stay, stepping out the rear door to the bedrooms you pass a small infinity pool. The bedrooms are modern with a 4 poster bed, modern bathroom walk in shower and a slipper bath, polished wood floors and high...
