This hotel is affordable and serviceable. It's in a great location, just right around the corner from Jonkers and everything else you want to see. I think I paid $50USD for our room, and that was with very little notice. We had a king bed, a great aircon, a hot shower, and no windows, which made the room nice for...

One thing I must say that is good about this hotel is it's walking distance-location to Jonker Street, Red Fort & Pahlawan Mall. This hotel has parking at the back but parking area is small and can only fit 10-12 cars comfortably. We chose room 141 which has no windows facing outside but a window in the bathroom facing into...

I spent here one night only, first I booked a room without windows-didnt know the lowest category was without windows-, so paid the difference and got a room without window. I dont like to use the AC and he was very fine in the night. I liked my stay here, in the very historical part of Melaka city, but night...

stayed 1/2/13 ~ 2/2/13(one night only) Room 140(first floor) { cheaper compared to the ones upstairs} Lobby is impressive. Nice street within jonker area.. a few hotels around the same street as well. Hotel is simply decorated and corridors are clean(non-aircon). Room is entered via contact keycard, and the same card to be used for the electricity. Do request for...

The Baba House was actually the only hotel that had a couple more rooms still available as we went during peak time on a weekend. We were lucky to have got them. The hotel provides a comfortable and clean place to stay and will satisfy those looking for decent accommodation at affordable rates. It's easy access (a 5 minute walk...

Small and nice. Affordable and accessible. We booked online. Drove over. Parked. Checked in. Busy place. But smooth. Dropped the bags and sauntered to Jonker Street, a stone's throw away. Easy. In the hotel, spend time marvelling at the baba decor details. Not the most exquisite. But delightful nonetheless.

Old and traditional you may say. It is a living museum on its own but that wouldnt change my mind on staying here another night. If you are a person that are afraid of ghosts and is highly superstitous this isnt the place you would want to rest your head at. Other than that the space is very tiny and...

We stayed for 3 nights in a double de-luxe room (with a window) the first room 337 the air con faulty and we managed to last 2 hours before insisting upon a room change, which in fairness was forthcoming, however our window now looked out to a toilet in the corridor, which meant the window was unusable, however the air...

This hotel in great location near Jonker Street. The ambient is good but lack of maintenance. I booked two rooms thru internet, upon check in surprisingly my rooms were in difference floor. The service provider ignore my request, claimed that it's peak season and somehow i booked late. I found the receiptionest was really unprofessional. For not ruined our holidays...
