Smack in the center of Jonker Street, very convenient but can be quite noisy at night (if you are the type to sleep early or light sleeper). rooms are clean with shared bathrooms. very comfortable, would definitely go there again.

We stayed here for 1 night. Owners were very friendly. Rooms are clean, spacious, have ac and everything is nicely decorated. Because it is a monument they couldn't make bathrooms in the rooms, but the communual bathrooms are nice andere clean. There is some noise from the nearby restaurant, but we didn't found it to be annoying. We would stay...

Big rooms, clean bathrooms and a nice rooftop terrace. We stayed here one night and we really enjoyed it. Location is perfect. Little noise from the café next door, also the air-con makes some noise. We didn't spoke much with the owner but he was not rude at all. M&M

Lonely Planet's top pick for Melaka is right next to a disco. Every night until midnight, you will to suffer through VERY loud syrupy somgs all the way until midnight before you can have any sense of peace and quiet. After a long day of travelling or sightseeing one hopes to rest in a guesthouse, not have the top 100...

We spent 3 nights in Melaka and truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. Our room was spacious and clean with a big comfortable bed. It also had air-con and a clean shared bathroom. There are several shared spaces such as the rooftop terrace or a big living room very well decorated with a big tv, a computer and...

Yes people, believe everything people have already written here...room and the facilities are o-kay..host? not!!! no decorum, enough said. Tho there was one young boy working there, I felt like rescuing him before being turned into the exact replica of the host (he's already wearing same outfit) Stay here if you can ignore the host - just be rude to...

I stayed in Number Twenty Guesthouse Twice. First time - Dec 2010. Second time - Feb 2011. I was rather prepared to be greeted by sarcastic host and any other bad reviews that i had read. Reason why i still choose this hotel because to me i think its convenient and its always good to try it out myself in...

Before I stayed in this guesthouse, I've heard many negative reviews about it's host. However it is certainly untrue it's host is rude. The only thing which makes him quiet is because of his inability to speak English very well. When I arrived at the guesthouse, I was impressed by it's location, cleanliness and the way it makes me feel...
