The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff was friendly, efficient, and very courteous. Loved the old record player in the lobby! You can even rent one and two seater bikes for a nominal fee. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient.

I contacted the Malaga Inn yesterday to ask some questions about their Park & Cruise packages and a shuttle to the port and Jordan provided excellent customer service! He answered all my questions and even made recommendations to save our family time & money while we are in

First hotel I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have enough wash cloths for everyone and openly admitted it like it was my problem. Didn’t even act like they were sorry or offer an apology. Will not stay again.

Hi Pete, I am very sorry that we ran out of washcloths during your stay with us. I am also sorry that no one at the front desk offered you an apology. We hope you will reconsider your decision not to stay with again. Best Regards, Jordan

I really wanted to love this place. It is charming and old-worldly but as we settled in we realized the toilet was filthy, as though it hadn't been properly cleaned in some time, the sink looked like it was barely wiped down. Very disappointing but we were so tired after a long

Hi Fun Foodies, I am sorry that we fell short of expectations. I would like to invite you back to stay as my guest if you are willing. All I can say is that our Mardi Gras season had just ended and we had a hand full of housekeepers walk out. I know this is none of your concern. You are a paying guest and the room should be spotless. I would be angry too. I would like to offer you something back just to say sorry. If you live too far away and have no desire to take me up on the free night, I would like to offer you a refund. Please give me a call at the hotel so we can talk. Best Regards, Jordan

It is a great place, we were able to call mid afternoon and book for the same night. We got the same $79 room rate and free parking by booking direct. The front desk person was busy in the am checkout and cleaning rush, but not in the evening. Maybe check their website to confirm direct number, try to call again at mid day. I found her responsive and helpful. Good luck. We had room 215 with two queen beds, very nice.

Do you have the park and ride to the port?
What they offer is to let you park at their lot for maybe 7.00 per day. We did that and got an Uber to pick us up and drop us at the port.

The inside courtyard is open. I know definitely yes on having wine on the balcony or courtyard. As far as a cigar, you would have to check with management. I have no idea.

The courtyard is very unique. You will it's ambience. We had cocktails in the courtyard every night we were there. I also remember smelling a cigar on an occasion or two. My answer would be yes you can. As well as the wine. I would also recommend to position yourself so the smoke doesn't irritate any nearby guest. Thank you Anthony S.
