Family was under some duress during this period. Checked in after 9 p.m. and was barraged with info about paying ahead on some thrift plan to cover my charges at the hotel over the ensuing three days, with a woman with a foreign (German?) accent who was difficult to understand. Valet service had us simply park our car on the...

My husband and I stayed at the Battlehouse last weekend for a wedding. Upon arrival we were greeted w/ an upgrade to a room w/ a garden tub and balcony. We had been to the elegant, yet fun, Royal Street Tavern before but never stayed in a room, so we stopped by the bar, grabbed some drinks and went up...

Absolutely beautiful hotel with above average staff and accommodations. Every time we have stayed for a special occasion they have done everything possible to upgrade us to a larger room or suite. The views from the tower are breathtaking, and the pool/bar area is perfect for a lazy day in the sun. The food in the grill and restaurant is...

Recently renovated rooms in a lovely historic frontage. We stayed in the rooms joining the historic tower which are large and recently refurbished. However despite the new look the poor finishing - curtains poorly hung and it looked like previous guests had tried some DIY on them and loose hinges and poorly fitting cabinets under the TV let it down....

This historical building is in a lovely section of downtown which is slowly coming back to life. Love, love the vibe of downtown. Extremely comfortable room with very nice touches. A few things jumped out such as some of the staff being terrified of dogs including my 14 year old Labrador I was traveling with. I hope that the hotel...

This hotel is clean, wonderfully arranged, has fun bathrooms with separate shower and bath. The round couch in the lobby reminds me of New York, Chicago and Omaha turn of the century hotel beauties with a classic glass dome floating above. This hotel has parking a bit a way, but it is a fun walk past a busy coffee shop...

This is one of the only hotels that allows us to leave our dog in the room unattended. We love our boy but we know he's not always welcome. It's nice when the hotel will let him stay in the room alone. There's also a park nearby with lots of squirrels to keep him happy!
