We stayed at Mana Resort but tried out Ravis on the beach. Ravi came out to meet us and find out what we wanted to eat. We ordered the curry, roti, poppodams and it was delicious! We enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast! Ravis is a great find!

This is advertised in Fiji as the 'cheaper island'. Although, it has everything that the other islands have and more in some cases. You can do some self-exploration around the island, partake in the daily activities that are run. The two brothers on the staff team were very kind to me, and made my stay memorable. They made me feel...

I spent 5 nights at Mana Lagoon which was far too long. The island itself is lovely and if I had been staying at the big resort further down the island I wouldn't have wanted to leave. The only thing that made this place good was the atmosphere. We stayed in a 4 bed room in the same block as...

It´s a really basic backpacker accomodation run by the village people. Usually I don´t mind that. But the atmosphere was just not good. Directly after our arrival they told us that we have to declare all valuable things we carry with us (there´s also a poster telling you to do this). Sure, we didn´t do that. While telling us this...

We were here for 4 nights, organised by Bamboo hostel. It is a 45-1h boatride from Bamboo to Mana Island. We got there and were served a delicious lunch (breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in the price and was very delicious local food, nice after all the Western food they serve you everywhere else in Fiji). There is no...

Expect to live SIMPLY. I thought the staff was awesome. The women were really nice and friendly and the entertainers were helpful, gave good insight, and were fun. I felt safe here, but listen to the staff when they tell you things because you are within the community. I stayed on a Wednesday to Saturday. On Friday night, Tofu and...

We had come to Fiji from Samoa and so were maybe not aware that the price for Mana Lagoon Backpackers was in the too cheap to be true catagory. Fortunately we had a great stay at Nananu I Ra before our disaster at Mana but we were still very angry with the tour sales lady for talking us into such...

Booked a tour to this place from one main Island backpackers. Paid for two days but could not manage it, Moved out after the first night. Dirty dark stuffy hot room with only one window overlooking the main hall where people hang out, sing and watch TV all night long, so it's bloody loud, couldn't sleep at all. There is...

I wouldn't say I am someone that likes to complain. I have stayed in dirty, infested beds, accept rodents are part of life, have eaten many a bland can of tuna for dinner, slept on plywood beds, lived in darkened rooms, eaten at set times, done nothing all day, paid far more than I should for meals in deserted places...
