Ultiqa @ Fiji Palms These unites are the newer section and are Sunday check in. These had two bedrooms and two baths. If you want a view of the ocean get a 2nd or 3rd floor unit. They are updated more than the older section Fiji Palms and have an extra bathroom that the other section doesn't have.

Fiji Palms - These units are in the older section and are Saturday checkins. The resort is about 2 hour drive from Nadi airport. Driving in Fiji offers a lot of freedom and can be easily navigated if you take your time and are comfortable in most driving situations. The left side of the road for US citizens can take some getting used to. They are two bedrooms and have one bath, but they are nice sized used and clean. The beds are decent, not plush, but comfortable and the living areas can comfortably fit eight people. There is no oven, but a stovetop and microwave are there and you can grill outside if you like. These are different from the Utilqa @ Fiji palms units based on check in date and number of bathrooms as well as location next to the beach. There are grills onsite you want to reserve, but the two hot tubs and the large pool are always open - not the case at other resorts. The restaurant onsite served good meals and the prices were reasonable compared to the hotel next door and the restaurant across the street. The grounds are nicely decorated with beautiful flowers and kept clean. The water onside is good for brushing teeth but bottled water (can be purchased across the street) is best for drinking. They will even arrange cab / car service for you if you ask. My daughter and son in law got a bit stranded when their car busted a tire and the resort staff member that manages the front desk was very helpful in arranging car service and getting them safety to the resort. There is an onsite LOVO (Fiji themed meal and entertainment) done weekly and organized tours that leave from the property that you are able to sign up for every Sunday. The beach was gorgeous and not overcrowded at all. The water was warm and clear. The pool had soft fake grass around it, but it made it easier to step out of the pool and onto a comfortable surface. Restaurants: The onsite restaurant, next door is The Pearl restaurants and activities you can sign up for as they have an agreement with Fiji Palms and The Establishment across the street. The grocery named TrueMart with gas station is about 10 minutes away with a good restaurant connected to it.

Fiji is a lovely island with a taste of the opulence and fullness of natural beauty not seen many places. The villages show a way of life that make a visitor appreciate the beauty in living off the land and sustaining yourself with a beautiful community. The tours we enjoyed that were offered onside was the Safari Tour, Suva City Tour and the Riverboat/tubing tour.

The staff of the Fiji palms and the neighboring Pearl resort make this place a feel like home for however long you’re there. The facilities are modern and comfortable. You’re not going to get the 5 star accommodations of some of the other more expensive resorts on the main island but for the cost it’s unbeatable. It’s family friendly. The food is good and activities are plenty . You won’t regret your stay here .

This resort is right on a nice, sandy beach. The complex is well landscaped, has a rather warm and beautiful pool. The open-air restaurant has a good menu with a variety of local and international dishes to chose from. It is rather inexpensive. The apartments are spacious, well appointed with everything you need (except enough electric outlets) but could use some updates into the 21th century. There was some construction going on at units 1 and three, but that was not very bothersome. Free wifi was only in the restaurant. In the units you had to pay for it. The buildings are only 2 stories high, which makes them almost disappear in the lush vegetation and landscaping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Trips could be booked from the bar whenever the front-office was closed.
The resort lies rather isolated from the 2 big cities, Nadi (about 175 Km) and Suva (about 55 Km).
But there are buses and plenty of taxis.
There are shops across the main highway. The beach is clean with white sand and long enough for walks along.

The resort location and beach is amazing, please know that this is an apartment style property with no additional room services. You will need to buy your own TP, laundry soap, no additional towels provided. You will need to do your own laundry.

The staff here are fantastic, they all made you feel so welcome. The resort is excellent and the restaurant and bar was a big plus. Activities organised from the resort gave you a great choice range with something to please everyone and very reasonable prices

This resort turned out to be a hidden gem. The location, beautiful beach, cozy apartment helpful staff and a quiet chill town made our stay appealing right till we checked out.
The resort itself is so laid back, has a nice chill ambience to it that made having our lil one year old’s birthday party there a beautiful experience. Best part is that it’s only 45mins from the Capital, access is so easy too whether you come by public transport or in your private vehicle. The helpful staff ensured we had everything we needed and made the stay even more relaxing/memorable. Highly recommend this lovely place and will definitely be booking in again with family/friends.

We stayed 3 nights. The large garden of the hotel is well kept with nice flowers and trees. The housekeeping and hotel lobby staff were friendly and cheery. The hotel surrounds and spacious apartment we had were spotlessly clean. Although we requested for an upper floor room but were checked into a ground floor unit, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ultiqa. We had the pool and jacuzzi right outside our patio. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away to Coral Coast Divers Fiji, where we did our amazing shark & reef dives. There are several minimarts and a reasonably priced cafe that served good fish & chips, burgers & pizza just across the street of the hotel. The beach fronting the hotel is very clean and you can walk to The Pearl next door . The sunrise view at Ultiqa is beautiful. A great place to base while in Pacific Harbour!

I have stayed in pacific Harbour a lot but never tried Ultiqa before. I loved our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and at a good standard. The food was good, the staff were polite and days tours all sorted and you just pay them and get picked up. The bonus for me was the kitchen and the washing machine. For FJ$40 you can hire a potable WIFI for 7 days and take it wherever you go. Was fantastic. Really enjoyed my stay. The gardens were lovely and the pool and two spas were magnificent. I will be back.

The 2-bedroom suite was a perfect size for our family of 4. We loved having the kitchen and laundry amenities in our room. Our kids loved the pool and the proximity to the beach was awesome. The staff was very friendly and accommodated us when we needed a babysitter during our shark dive. Ana Banana was a fun and friendly babysitter to my kids (5 & 11). Kimma was the best at making arrangements for us and helping us to feel very welcome. She even helped us with last-minute RAT tests prior to our departure back home, getting results back to us early Easter Sunday.

Fiji Palms is a small resort with a welcoming staff located on a beautiful sandy beach overlooking Beqa island. It is important to note, however, that it is a lengthy and costly transfer from Nadi. The resort is mainly for people wishing to enjoy a resort-based holiday unless you have the budget for all the extra activities on offer. Great holiday for relaxing or catching up with family and friends.

Hi, Suva is closer but the flights are cheaper to fly into Nadi and transfers are about FJ$70 each way. We had 8 people and it was discounted to FJ$300 each way.
