We went to have a look at this resort.. had a good lunch at the restaurant. They have a Lovo night once a week that is a lot of fun and Good food. The accomodation is Rondawel type room with a thatched roof. The toilet and shower are out the back door of the room... not my choice.

Wow. This really is a wonderful resort. Picture perfect gardens and grounds. Warm and friendly staff who are always willing to help and have a chat about how your stay is or how your day was. This resort really forces you to chill- no tv or phone. Food and drinks are really delicious and inexpensive. Wonderful fusion fiji and indian...

A really great value place to stay. Beautiful grounds and communal areas. The cleaning staff were very lovely with an echo of ‘Bulla’ following you everywhere you go. I stayed in a 12 bed dorm, which is a converted large bure (cabin) which was really nice, it certainly didn’t feel like backpacking staying here, especially with the big outdoor/garden shower...

We chose Uprising because we were coming from Beqa and had an early flight the next day out of Suva and because Agoda rated it as Excellent. It was, delightfully so! We stayed in an amazing Villa (#4--ask for it!) that had ocean views, AC, outdoor shower, large bath, master, living room and kitchen area. A local jazz band played...

Uprising resort is a quiet, friendly and professionaly run place. Great restaurant and bar facilities. Good pool and right next to the beach. Helpful staff with a smile and a "Bula" to say hello. Highly recommended for families and couples.

The resort goes by the tagline "It's not perfect...it's paradise". At least they were candid enough to get the first half of it right. I like the fact that it's locally-owned and therefore would like to offer constructive suggestions to help it improve on a hardly-finished product. For those looking for a white sandy beach and turquoise waters as it's...

I stayed here for one night in November 2016 because I was doing the Beqa shark dive the following morning. The room cost £65 including breakfast so I was pleasantly surprised when it was a very large room, including a super King double bed and single bed. The private bathroom is outside the room which was a bit strange but...

The hotel room was infested with Crocoroaches. The towels were not changed everyday. And worst of all the receptionist tried to get $150 out of my parents when I had paid off the rooms in advance . This was ridiculous

Bula sheetaljd, Thank you for your recent of review of the Uprising and I am sorry to hear of your parents experience. This is by no means our standard and it would appear there has also been some misunderstanding on a couple of points you raised. You are correct in stating that the towels are not changed everyday as this...
