My husband and I were on a three week multi-island tour of Fiji that began with our stay October 24-29, 2014 to celebrate my 50th birthday. This island getaway is jaw dropping! The resort is the ONLY one on the island. A very intimate spot and we went on a private beach picnic three days in a row and visited...

This holiday was my third visit to Fiji over the years, and I can say it was the BEST! What a great holiday ... a common thing if things don't go right ... they say "Fiji time" and laugh. At Yasawa Island Resort and Spa, this wasn't the case. In my experience last week (end of May 2015), the resort...

Its difficult to write this review as I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was. Its a long review but I can't help it!!! The flight in the small plane was exciting and a highlight in itself as you flew over the beautiful blue ocean and around the island to the grass landing strip. A warm...

We had a wonderful time here. Arrival on the island was a bit of adventure since we've never landed on a dirt/grassy runway before. But once we arrived it was paradise. The property is beautiful. Our bungalow had a beautiful view of the beach it was very roomy and spacious. Even the deck was spacious. I loved the outside shower....

Prior to Yasawa we already spent some time in the main land and was so carried away by the Fijian hospitality. Yasawa Resort managed to take it to the next level. The cozy small jet was lovely and offered scenic view of the Fiji blue. After landing on the pad we were warmly welcomed by the staff with flowers and...

Having had a long day traveling from Taveuni to Yasawa, we were a bit tired upon arrival but all that changed with one song and an amazing club sandwich. The staff is warm and gracious, the property is beautiful and the food was delicious. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, a bit of a trek to the dining room but...

Bula Michael & Raymond, Thank you for your comments. We had a great time meeting you and thank you for visiting us all the way from LA/Palm Springs. You will have a laugh to know that the new passenger van arrived on the island this week and the staff had great fun welcoming it in traditional Fijian style. We look...

It was magical. From the moment we get onto the jet we were so captured by the scene and the experience. The island was not so developed but it was it that made it special. Everything was very natural and we enjoyed every bit of it. The resort offers a really relaxing environment and every morning we were waking to...

We travelled to Yasawa resort over Easter for 7 nights during family time (NSW school holidays) - our children are 11 & 8 years - we loved the resort! It grows on you! Our included charter flight from Nadi was on a 8 seater plane - a scenic 30 minute flight - landing on a grass run way. We were...

Bula Megan, Thanks for your Trip Advisor comments. We are really blessed at Yasawa Island resort & Spa to have the best weather in Fiji, being in an area that is far away from the mainland we have the highest sunshine hours and lowest rainfall in Fiji. We only have select periods during the year where we welcome kids and...

Attentive, friendly service to go with an exceptional destination and excellent cuisine. Diving (for a fee), snorkeling (free activity), a lagoon trip (free) and great hiking and views. A village visit to meet the families of those who operate the resort. Friendly management/hosts and solidly functional amenities. There's nothing to dislike about this perfectly relaxing/active break!

Bula Vinaka, Thanks for your input and for visiting us all the way from Baltimore. I have passed on to our chefs you comments about the excellent cuisine - thank you. We recently returned from 6 days at the Yasawa Island Resort and were very impressed with the resort and the staff. Bula Kimberley, Thanks for your review. Fiji was certainly extremely lucky to miss cyclone Pam - even though we did get the tail end of the wind and rain. It is always a challenge when you don't have favourable weather on holidays but I am glad that Lucy and the team looked after you. I am sorry you felt that...
