We stayed for a week whilst on holiday in Shanghai. Room on the 81st Floor. Spectacular views over the bund dawn, day and sunset. Plenty of shopping centres to walk to around the hotel - but non shopping experiences all on other side of the river. But that didn't stop us doing anything - taxis are easy and cheap. The...

Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed the view. Besides the easy taxis, we hope you were able to take advantage of the water taxi next to us. It is a small ferry that will take you directly to the Bund. The water taxi is a short 5-minute walk and our concierge can point you in the right direction....

Park Hyatt, Shanghai is an extremely modern hotel. The rooms and the hotel decor is very luxurious. I was a Hyatt diamond when I visited and the view I got from room was absolutely breathtaking. The view from the restaurant where breakfast was served was stunning but the breakfast itself was just average and nothing to write about. The service...

This hotel is pretty special. I had been told by some serious business travellers that they consider this hotel world class. I had high expectations that were met, but not exceeded. The views are awesome. There are not too many hotels that are this high up. Breakfast on level 91 is a once in a lifetime experience. Getting up to...

Thank you for your review of Park Hyatt Shanghai. We are happy you enjoyed the view especially during breakfast. The night views are also great. Please try us for dinner on your next visit. We agree the lighting in the room can be a bit dark at times however this is to ensure we preserve the great view from your...

Love the hotel, the room was nicely decorated both in style and functionality. The only downside is the small gym - machines and free weights are well equipped, however there is hardly any space for stretching and floor work, without spilling over to the pool area which is a shame.

Very nicely appointed hotel, elegant and luxurious decor. Views from the lobby and the room were stunning. Conveniently located in the commercial area of Shanghai, 10minutes walk from metro, but easy to catch taxi. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Staffs were friendly and nice. Its an AMEX fine hotel, so we got complimentary upgrade and 600RMB food credits where we...

Hands down this is my favorite big box hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything about it was just perfect. The wide open rooms with simple and clean furnishings, the torrential downpour shower, the views, the service, the breakfast, this place has it all. There wasn't enough availability to stay here my entire trip and when I moved over the Grand...

Thank you for your generous review of Park Hyatt Shanghai. We've never heard someone describe our shower using such colorful language such as "torrential downpour" and agree it is impressive. We have noted your comments on the service and breakfast and am sorry we have ruined all future stays at other hotels for you. However, we genuinely look forward to...

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
