I have stayed in the hotel many weekends that happened to need accommodation in Shanghai. Here i just mentioned the latest. But usually the times i booked it, it was pick time and I could not find availability at a reasonable price in better hotels. Of course it has the disadvantages of an old hotel, with poor service and amenities,...

Upon stepping out of the Metro station, we were astounded as my partner and I saw our hotel directly opposite. We entered the reception and although we were greeted with suspicion by the reception staff who overly scrutinised our 'well in date' passports with resident's permits, we were still pleasantly surprised. It was obvious that the hotel was being renovated...

Also know an 'Shanghai New Century Manju Hotel Railway Station Meiyuan', this hotel is very conveniently located right opposite the Hanzhong Road (Line 1) of Shanghai Metro, barely 50 meters from the Exit 2. That was the main reason for me to choose this hotel. This means you can conveniently reach any part of the city by hopping on to...

Booked on Agoda, where, for some reason it's called "New Century Manju". Old owner's name? In general, a decent hotel in need of a little TLC. 10min. walking distance from the Shanghai Railway station, in front of a metro exit, close to a nearby canal with a pleasant walking/running path, close by to banks, where you can change money, quiet,...

We stayed in this hotel with family and though it was far it was still accessible since railway station is just across. It was far from the tourist destination but not bad at all. There were no toiletries though but its still compensated as there is a minimart in the hotel. Room was quite confusing if it was a hotel...

We realised that it's an old hotel prior to booking. However, in real life, it even looks older. We chose this hotel mainly due to its location near the central railway station which was perfect. However, the room smell like smoke. We were convinced that almost all rooms were smoking rooms! Only one receptionist out of the whole group was...

Filthy Horrible sex hotel. There were Condoms and cigarettes on the night stand. It was a Very Dirty Hotel!!! I suggest you sleep in the street before I suggest sleeping in this hotel. My poor children had to see condoms on a night stand and wallpaper pealing off the walls. I cannot tell you how bad it was. Just don't...

Very good location.. two Metro Station from People Square.. subway station across the street (Line 1, exit from the station No 2). 10 mins walk to Everbright City and Shanghai Station, with lots of shops and restaurants. Excellent and very helpful service at the hotel. Good small restaurant serving breakfast and is open all day. Food is OK and not...

This hotel is perfect for travellers who use Shanghai Railway Station for transit, 10 Minutes away by subway. The subway entry is directly on the other side of the road in front of the hotel. For a hotel near to a train station / airport , my room was quite clean and had a brandnew carpet, the smell of "refurbished"...
