From the hotel you can go everywhere thanks to the subway immediately out of the hotel. The zone is quiet but is not in the downtown. Really close to the Shanghai fair (you can walk) have a really elegant style. The suites are really huge (two floors). The brakfast was really ful of products and foods!

I spent 5 nights here recently, from 1st to 6th September. And this is my review. I hope it helps travellers to Shanghai. The Location - About 40 minutes drive from the Pudong airport. Normal meter taxi should cost from CNY120 to 150. Prepaid taxi OR Tout-Taxi will be much higher. The Hotel is built right over the Century Park...

Excellent value, we paid 700 RMB per night for one of the larger park view rooms. convenient location opposite century park entrance and metro station. The friendly reception staff spoke decent English. A good place if you are looking for an inexpensive option.

This hotel is great if you don't want to be in downtown Shanghai. Step out of the metro and into the hotel for easy access to all sights on Line 2. If you really want to take the metro to Pudong airport, its there ( but only if you have lots of time). Rooms were very good value, high quality...

The hotel is good for business trip, have a Metro station right under the hotel and very near to Shanghai International Fair, also near to Pu Dong Airport. However there is nothing to do in the hotel after business, the facilities are poor for other activities. In General the staff are kind and nice and co-operative. The food is average

The Dorsett Shanghai hotel, is an affordable, comfortable, secure hotel in the midst of the Pudong area of Shanghai. If you take the fast Maglev train from the Pudong International airport to its Pudong terminal, then change to the Metro ( very easy), you can reach Century Park Station, just one short ride and from there take Exit 4 ...which...

Staying in Century Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
