I like staying in Hiltons because they are reliably good and this hotel is no exception. The rooms were modern, comfortable and clean. I'm a Hilton Gold member and I liked being able to have breakfast and enough food in the evening to call it dinner. There seems to be a friendly group of ex-pats who stay here regularly so,...

Nice hotel in line with what you would expect from Hilton. Stayed here fairly recently on a business trip to SH and will certainly consider staying here again when in town. Rooms spacious and clean - lobby bar offered a good selection of hot food and snacks too. Only negative was that you're not permitted to take drinks back to...

Dirty room. Pillow cases/sheets gave me pink eye. Wanted my money back for the room but staff only offered me free breakfast. Very insulting. They suggested I go to the doctor which costs 300$ and takes 3-6 hours. I paid less for the room. Staff seemed to have many excuses. A manager said they will investigate my sheets and get...

Stayed over two weeks, great quality/clean and impressive. No complaints. No room service unless you turn the service light on...perfect! Buffet breakfast was also great, lots of fresh items and choices.

Actually, a mousepad can make a hotel room. I travel a lot on business and sometimes the hotel room desk has a glass surface that makes it difficult to use an optical mouse. The very nice room provided for me at the Hilton Hotel on Hua Shan Road had such a desk, but there was also a mousepad. Make no...

Last stay about 3 years back, generally feel nice and simple for stay . The breakfast is simple fare. Room is fairly well equipped but the internet is bad, I have to use my mobile network for connection. The lift is super slow and need long wait. Now a bit inconvenient to walk about due to a lot of construction...

This is my repeated visit to Hilton Shanghai over the years and my first visit in 2017. As usual after getting a car service to pick me up from the airport, I soon arrived at the hotel. The check in was a breeze at the executive lounge on the 38 level. I get free wifi , daily breakfast and a...

Everyone gives this hotel high marks and it is a very nice hotel. I have stayed there many times but mostly in hoping they get it right. It is close to things we like to do and one of the best rates around, but they keep missing the mark for me. Case in point and the reason I am writing...

We visited Shanghai in November for business and decided to stay at the Hilton in Shanghai. We arrived in the evening and had dinner at Sichuan Court. Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
