I stayed in this hotel to attend exhibition in SNIEC. It is conveniently located near METRO, only several stations away from Nanjing road. Front desk staff understand English, efficient. For foreigners, there were good variety of food such as Thai, Korean etc in a mall opposite the hotel. One could have breakfast in Starbuck on the ground floor. Room was...

Amazing hotel, wonderfull and large rooms, great bath tube, great view, great pool, and good restaurants. A cigar store and a chinese products store in the lobby. Nice service. And a lot of options around... A great option in Shangai!

Its nearly and next to main road in Eastern Town (Pudong) of Shanghai. There is big main lobby in yellow color with high ceiling. The building is mix-used with some lower floors for companies, restaurant and high floors for hotel rooms. Room hotels is good with large space and city view, but there is not balcony. On arrival, this hotel is spectacular, definitely looks like a 5 star hotel. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. The lobby was spacious and well decorated with a few shops such as starbucks and a tailor. We had the standard double room which was a bit out-dated. The bathroom in particular could use with updating and was quite small...

In Shanghai on business Very happy with the service, room, choice of restaurants in the hotel & surrounding area. There is a very nice shopping centre right next to the hotel and a Starbucks outside same. It is also very close to the subway & about 45 minutes drive from Pudong airport.

Room: There was an antique vase greeting u within 2 steps upon opening the main door. The room has oddly shaped near the main door area. Spacious King sized bed but mattress was aged. Nice city view on level 33. Toilet is a little squeezy! Bathub and shower were common. Fully furnished toiletries. Towels looked white. Location: 45min drive to...

So we held a small wedding reception at the Purple mountain hotel. The reception area was very nice looking. But the food, way too expensive and doesn't taste good at all, but they do look very nice tho! We booked and paid for 6 rooms for our families. However, prior to everyone's arrival. We went to the lobby to make...

The purple mountain is located close to century Avenue metro station in pudong area. Trying to find some activity around is strongly limited to the small shopping center nearby. Taking the metro or taxi however make it still possible traveling to nanjing road or the bar area in xujiahui in roughly 30-45 min. Except from that, one could also find...

Considering the area you would have to call this hotel cheap. Rooms are decent, not that newly renovated so a touch-up would be recommended. Many restaurants in the building. Friendly staff. A taxi to and from the hotel from Pudong airport in daytime is about 130-180rmb.

Rooms are clean while the hotel and furnitures are rather old. Conveniently 5min walk away from Century Avenue Metro Station. Surrounding buildings has quite few good Chinese and Western Dinning House. 45min Metro ride away from the Shanghai Conventional Hall at Xu Jing Dong Metro Station. Strong wind could be heard from the hotel room. In the late night, there...
