I made reviews prior to this one, this booking was made via a business acquaintance. It definitely didn't improve since I've stayed there last time.... I requested a high floor which I got, none smoking, I was told they where not available, I had to take what was assigned or be downgraded to a lower level room, I asked to...

Stayed here for 7 nights, this apartment hotel is clean ( room interior is bit outdated). Close to Metro line 8 about 5 minutes walk. Hotel Staff was helpful. Breakfast was included in price. Hotel is also close to people square.

Great location with the metro just 10 minutes away. Apartment itself is basic with a kitchenette with washing machine. What's odd was they provided plate, bowls and chopsticks but no other cutlery (fork, spoons, knifes). 2 bedroom unit came with 2 TVs; 1 in the lounge and the other in the main bedroom. People's Park, Nanjing Road, the Bund are...

Stayed here last year for 3 nights on our way back to the UK. Had a two bedroom apartment/suite with spacious lounge and good kitchen. Good location close to metro and many good small restaurants all around for Shanghai dumplings and bigger meals. Good price and very comfortable. Have started using apartments elsewhere after this good experience - see my...

Well located in Shanghai I just love this apartment hotel. Great views of Shanghai along with a full kitchen makes for a really pleasant stay. I just returned from 2 weeks in Shanghai and this hotel really made for a pleasant stay. Very reasonable prices and a knowledgeable staff.

It is in a great location where you can find convenience stores and decent food. We tried to cook but realised they do not provide some essentials - cooking sticks, knives. We end up going out to eat. Quite a clean place, and good value for a short stay !

The location is not far away from Nanjing East pedestrian street.. about 10 minutes walk but I struggled to find the exact place. I booked a 2 room unit with added bed and staff there gave me a free upgrade to 3 room unit. The stay is overall satisfactory although the in room facility is a bit worn out.

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Plenty of room for three adults. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Had crockery and chopsticks but no cutlery or cooking / food preparation utensils e.g knives for cutting fruit that is for sale all over the place. Interesting location amongst stalls and local stores. Walking distance to bund and Nanjing Rd

Staying in People’s Square

Neighbourhood Profile
People’s Square
People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
