I like it the location of the hotel. You just need to walk to find shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the people who works there are nice. Breakfast is included though it wasn't really good, but it was okay.

The hotel has a great location at East Nanjing Road, near two subway stations (East Nanjing Road and People Square). It is also near The Bund and Yu Garden. The hotel needs to improve the cleanliness... we stayed for 6 nights and they didn't wash the bathroom floor. Our room windows were broken and didn't close. Fortunatly, it was hot...

Starting our China trip by staying at the 7th heaven was nothing short of an excellent idea. The hotel is old, but clean and well maintained. If your looking for modern amenities and a sleek futurist building go elsewhere. This building is classic china, and I mean that in a good way. The prices are very affordable and breakfast was...

Spent 4 nights here. Was O.K. but nothing really to go home about. The hotel is old and I think needs some touching up especially in restaurant area. My room was clean and modern on the 15 floor so away from the noise. The hotel staff were average not really friendly in the end when checking out she was adamant...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location is excellent, nothing to complain about. In the middle of the shopping central, with nearby food places and tourist spots. But the place is very old and a bit over priced. Breakfast was included in my accommodation but only tried it once as they serve the same thing everyday during my stay. Cleanliness can...

Stayed here for 2 night on arriving to Shanghai. This hotel is located halfway down the main pedestrian street (Nanjing street) and a short 10 minute walk from the metro. Hard to get better for the price in this part of Shanghai. Rooms were functional and had everything you'd expect for a good 3 star hotel. Breakfast was included and...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a private ensuite room. The hotel is in an excellent location on Nanjing street. Convenient to metro stations. Breakfast was enjoyable; eggs cooked to your liking with a western breakfast option. All toiletries available in room (which was much appreciated as our airline lost our bags in Abu Dhabi for 2 days) Great...

The hotel staff was not polite and the problem starts with the Manager, who is extremely rude. Firstly, my booking was for 4 people in a deluxe room and, to my surprise, the room had only 3 single beds and it was very small. When I requested an extra bed, I was told that I had to pay more for...

Staying in People’s Square

Neighbourhood Profile
People’s Square
People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
