The hotel location allows for walking short distances for sightseeing and shopping. The Bund is a short distance away and is nice to see at night. The hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size for me since I went alone. Some of...More
Great location for the price.
Not far from The Bund. Perfect for tourism.
The hotel is quite good, rooms are large and confortable (despite those hard chinese beds)
They have an excellent bar serving great burgers and cold beer until late.
Front desk is terrrible....More
A very dated hotel with hardly any charm to it... Food / Breakfast is less than average... Rooms are relatively small and also very dated... not really recommendable...
Good location but that is most probably the best...

People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and
work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
