Very clean room, roomy with a great view of Pudong's skyscrapers. Bath tub was a bit narrow & shower does tend to leak due to the design. I must applaud Hank one of the bellhop who helped arranged for our driver & even food delivery for us on his cell phone. A second bellhop on the day we checked out...

The staffs were not fluent in English, they have failed to clearly explain deposits and payments reasons. My first room smelled of cigarettes, I have to ask to change the room (stayed for 3 nights in total), then my neighbors who were all speaking Chinese started a housewife club at night with like 10 people in the room and their...

The hotel was nice and comfortable and not far off from main attractions. We were visiting the hotel to attend a business expo and the hotel had all the ingredients to make up for a comfortable stay. The only bit of problem was in communication in English which can be anywhere in China. Otherwise the staff tried their best to...

Rooms are huge and facilities are also really good. I enjoyed my stay and their staff is also very helpful. Also, it is just an easy 10 mins walk to the subway. I enjoyed the park around the hotel for a great easy morning workout!

Standard is all good but location quite far from down, min 20-30 minutes by taxi. Upgrade to better room. If you're unlucky you could get a room facing towards an boring area. Breakfast is ok thought Overall if you stay in a good room it's a 4 star.

It is located near the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Good service and convenient location. There is a nice park around the hotel. Room service was decent. We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant and both service and food was great. Friendly staff.

Just far away from everything (except 45mins to Pudong airport and Science Techn. Museum) but Restaurants are not around. Room size good. Massage 60mins 680RMB is rude! Internet bandwidth is also good

Stayed for one night during longer China trip. Rooms are fine, nice bathroom with tub, decent Wi-fi, bed ok and pillows above average. What pulls down still is restaurant and check-in counter. Compared to other hotels, I wasn't impressed with speed and effectivity. Also with so many similar hotels in same price class and area, I would choose other with...

Stayed for two nights in Sep'16 on a business visit. Check in and check out was very smooth. Room is large in size and comfortable. Location is very good as its next to Century Avenue which is a business district and also has a very famous local shopping market (walkable from hotel). Getting a cab from the hotel is very...

Staying in Century Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
