We stayed at Casa Marin just a few days ago for a couple of nights. We stayed in the dolphin room and it was really nice and comfy beds! It was right off the pool which was refreshing on a hot day. The best part of staying there was Jody the owner she is fantastic and very helpful and friendly....

Casa Marin was our first accommodation in Costa Rica. We were made very welcome by Jody and Wilson during our 5 day stay with them. The room was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable, with a lovely garden right outside our door. Jody made the most wonderful breakfast each morning, often with fresh fruit and home...

I so appreciate your comments about your stay here. I am fortunate to have had amazing guests and value their visits and comments. In regard to getting to and from Casa Marin and that it is a challenge, I feel the need to comment. When I have had guests who are here for more than a one or a two...

Stayed here on our last night of a two week trip to CR, very close to airport. While there are chain airport hotels available, I can't think of a better way to end an amazing trip than staying at Casa Marin. Jody and her family welcomed us as if we were part of their family! Dolphin room was very comfortable...

I planned my Costa Rica trip for months for myself and my son for over the Christmas holidays. Originally I'd planned to rent a car and drive...I'm so glad I didn't. Jody picked us up at the airport and right away I was comfortable and felt like I'd known her forever. She took us back to Casa Marin, and we...

This may be the trickiest review I've written because it is not a review of the hotel per se, but a report of a situation involving it that may be of some use to others. When making plans and reservations for a place in another country where another language is spoken, misunderstandings can sometimes occur. I communicated via email very...

Since I have received this review, I have considered what could have been done differently, to not have this occur again. When I was in communication with this gentleman about this potential reservation, I was out- of- town during the low season and we had a dialogue prior to my return home, afterwards no further communication. I get many emails...

Jody's B&B is the perfect place to stay if you are flying in and out of San Jose or want a few nights in the city. It's a very short drive to the airport, is very comfortable and has the best host in Alajuela. My friends and I stayed at the beginning and end of our trip and we couldn't...

We stayed 2 nights this November, to begin and end our trip to Costa Rica. We were so impressed with the service - we were picked up at the airport, given access to wifi on the drive home, then given a tour of Alajuela and taken to find a place for lunch by Julio. Jody made great breakfasts and even...

This B & B exceeded our expectations. We were so well taken care. As soon as we arrived in San Jose airport Julio picked us up and offered to take us to a delicious local restaurant for lunch and around the town of Alajuela. Jody helped us pick up our rental car and gave us great directions to our next...
