We just got back from our second trip to The Buena Vista, it's a wonderful way to start (or end) your trip to Costa Rica. The shuttle was waiting for us when we got off the plane and it's only 15 - 20 minutes to the hotel. They have remodeled the hotel since the last time we were there and...

My family of 3 (or more depending on who is travelling with us) always stays at Buena Vista when we visit Costa Rica, which we do on a yearly basis. The staff and owners are helpful, courteous, friendly, and always available. The owners are on site as well which is a big plus. These folks remember us each time we...

We stayed here 2 nights at the last leg of our trip. Hotel situated in a very nice location ( up in the mountain) therefore the climate is always cool. Room was nice & clean (no AC , but as I've mentioned, you don't need an AC here). They have a coffee trail on the premise if you want to...

The view is great overlooking the city of Alajuela as well as views of San Jose from the lawn or from some of the bungalow quarters set into the hillside. Not to imply that these quarters are simple, they are elegant and very nicely decorated. While I only...

We stayed here on a Headwater trip. This is a nice hotel with lovely views over the Central Valley of Costa Rica - our rooms did not have spectacular views but were still good quality with all necessary facilities. Good food. A nice first stop in Costa Rica up above the cities. Small but nice pool.

Great view on the central valley, beautiful gardens, nice little pool, wifi, postal service, coffee and quality souvenir shop, tourist infos,...
